I noticed in the catalog that they have a VersaMark cartridge for the regular sized wheels, but not one for the jumbo wheel (unless I am missing something). Could I just buy a one-cell jumbo cartridge and a VersaMark re-inker and make my own?

Amy, are you sure you're not looking at the clear embossing cartridge and refill (page 219)? It's not the same as VersaMark.

I don't see why not. Honestly, though, I do not use the embossing cartridge at all. I do have it, but it has dried up from non-use and I never bothered refilling it. I have two one-cell cartridges (one standard and one jumbo) that I filled with Versamark and that's what I use exclusively. It's much more versatile that way, since embossing ink disappears once dry and cannot be used to achieve a watermark effect like VersaMark can.

Gotcha! I will go with the empty one cell cartridge and the VersaMark refill rather than the embossing ink refill. Thanks for the response!
Amy - I've done the same thing with VersaMark ink, and the white ink for my jumbo wheels. I also store each cartridge in it's own snack-sized ziploc(tm). Works great!

I do the same thing. Keeps the cartridges nice and juicy between uses! I write the name of the color on the bag with a Sharpie for quick and easy identification -- those labels are TINY and hard to read, and I don't even wear glasses!

I bought the VersaMark Pad refill and inked a blank jumbo cartridge-- works just fine. The refill comes in a little bottle just like the colored ink refills, except the label is all white and the lid is black. It's on page 224 of the new catty; page 222 of the old catty.
Thank you for the quick response. I guess I've never noticed the versamark refill before. I will be purchasing it on my next order. Versamark is so versatile. Thanks!!!

You probably missed it because there isn't a picture. It's only listed in the product info down the side of the page.
