Do you have a card in your gallery that you love, but has very few "views"? Perhaps it was the time you posted it that it got pushed down in the line up, or maybe we just glanced over it by accident?! Let's share a card that hasn't been viewed much that is a personal favorite. For me, it's this card:
I usually lean toward a more clean and simple style; I love the shabby, vintage look, but am unable to pull it off.

What a nice idea. I was disappointed with the amount of views and comments on my gallery, so I took them all off. I have a blog and people visit that a lot. I have over ten thousand hits since I began in September. People leave comments there, so that makes me feel terrific

I've lurked your blog often - very nice!
I too was disappointed by the amount of view and comments, but have learned to use it as a archiving/documentation tool - that way I don't have to store my pictures of my cards on my own hard drive. Here are a couple that have relatively few views:
I haven't made cards since just before Christmas - I have switched to scrapbooking for the last little while. Maybe I might post some of my most recent pages to my gallery....

This is an interesting thread. There are many talented card-makers here and they generally get many comments every day. And deservedly so, their cards are wonderful!
I don't usually leave comments on those cards as they have already been singled out. What I try to do daily is go to the gallery and leave a comment on cards that have few views or no comments. There is always something about the card that I like and I want to let them know. I understand the world doesn't end if I don't leave comments, its just what I like to do In fact, I think I left Pedal Power a comment on that cute Easter basket; sweet!

I could be wrong, but I think people who use lots of bows, and decorative paper get more attention... maybe it's more the style many of the SCS readers like??? My poor little ego has been much happier since I took things out of my gallery. Now, I don't have to be disappointed or hurt. I come to this site to talk and share and I love that
I also think that doing the challenges will usually generate more comments and views, but not always. I just had no idea that a gallery could be deleted. I guess I thought it was a permanent fixture. Just goes to show you how there is something to be learned
here every day, lol!
Thanks everyone for the kind comments on my card! You've made my day.
SC, I just took a look at your blog, and saw that enamelware pitcher - FANTASTIC job! So very realistic looking.

I know that my cards don't get a lot of views or comments. That's ok with me. I haven't posted a card in almost a year I think since I haven't made a card I wanted to admit to making lately  I just post them as a way to keep a record of what I made and the last ones were for DT requirements. I just haven't been in the card making mood lately. I also know that I don't get a lot of visitors to my gallery since I have categorized my gallery (ie private galleries so to speak), so from what I've been told/read, they don't show up on the "front page" when I post them to my category galleries and someone would have to actually go to my gallery specifically to look at my posts.
I think that sometimes if the photo of the card is really good people don't bother to open up the card for a closeup view and this is why some don't get viewed very often. I notice that a lot of the same cardmakers get a lot of views and comments over and over again. I think its the style of card that they make that appeals to lots of people whether it is a CAS card or one with lots of embellishments. I envy their imagination but am soo thankful for those people that are so talented so we can copy them! lol!
