Honestly, I can deal with it if I don't get the envelopes. It was a good deal, but if it was an honest mistake...life goes on, right? We all live to stamp another day! Cheer up! If nothing else it made for a crazy thread!
IT is not about calling them it is those that order the 50+ boxes that put up a red flag for the company. If people wouldn't be so greedy when the price is cheap EVERYONE would have a chance. I orderd 10 boxes, but I ordered over $50 worth of OTHER things too with them. I have not got a shipping order yet for the envelopes but have the other $58 worth of stuff being delivered today.
that's a little harsh don't you think? It is a free country and as consumers if someone wants to by a lifetime supply of 1 cent envies then that is thier choice. I got 20 boxes, I do not begrudge anyone who ordered hundreds or even thousands....I made my own choice and they made thiers. We all have the Freedom to choose for ourselves, and should be able to do so without a guilt complex laid on me by someone resentful.

my account was charged within an hour of ordering them.
and NO i do NOT feel guilty for ordering 100. i will be giving mine away with each SAB order, to friends and family.
not my problem. i was lucky this time. and yes, i've been on the sh!t end of the stick here and there.
shopping online is no different than being at a department store and someone gets the last one...or the last of the size you need.

Just checked my order. It says shipped. But it looks like they doubled my order, because now I have a New order that says backorder. We will have to see. The shipped order now has a 0 chaged bal. boy I do hope the goes through at the penny rate. Stupid me used a debit card!! But at least the order was for 5 boxes.

I just had my order delivered, envelopes and all! My credit card was charged, and the price of the envelopes were $.01. Wow, they're FAST! By the way, on the Viking site, the status of my order is still listed as "Held dropship."
Just got my order too! 50 boxes, to share with my stampin buddies, of course:lol: and all for .01� a box!! Just checked the viking & office depot link again and they still show .01� a box. They are Out of stock in my area but can still be backordered at both places. If
I just received my envelopes! I was charged only $4 something for 50 boxes plus shipping and handling--the box is on the front step because it's so heavy! I can't lift it!!!

Mine were supposed to be delivered today. Now the website is showing two orders ... one that says it was delivered, and one that says they are on backorder. Since I haven't received anything yet (and it's after 3:00 pm), I now have no idea when they're coming. :confused:
Received the tombo adhesive I ordered on the porch just now. The envies did not arrive. The Viking website shows two orders...one that is held dropship and the other is backordered. I guess we will see what happens.
I just looked at my order for 5 boxes on Vikings website, and it now says backordered. So, I called to check on the status. I was told that they aren't actually backordered, but that they didn't process the order at all. They were made aware of the pricing error, and will not honor my order. But, If I'd like I can still order them at the correct price of $6.49 a box. NOPE! Bummer!

But as someone else already said, Viking was holding the orders until customers call (as I did) and then tell us that they are not honoring the price but will go ahead and ship if we want to pay the right price. Anyone that got all their envy's wanna share with a sister??? Pretty please. My order got cancelled, I called and was told that the order never will ship, becuase it was a major error on the part of viking, but they weren't willing to budge. I was so mad, I told the customer service rep that, I felt that was very poor customer service, since a lot of people have gotten their envy's and then some of us aren't getting any. I ordered 50 boxes, but would just be happy with a couple of boxes............anyone willing to help out? Thanks so much

I didn't call and I got my envies and I got them at the 1 cent per box price.
I just had part of my order delivered UPS, I did receive 20 boxes. Will have to wait and see if the others arrive. If not it still was a great deal. My card was only charged the original amount.
I just ordered 10 boxes and it said that they are .01 cents. They are backordered, but that happened when I ordered the prismacolor pencils and I still got them. We will see. :razz:

but, this was a box of 500.. the ones you guys ordered are boxes of 100 arent they??
I live in Canada and we never get good deals, actually we don't get any deals at all - grrrrrrrrr. Have fun with all your envelopes ladies - boo hoo hoo.
