Default Watercolor Crayons - want different storage ideas

I have finally become addicted to using the Watercolor Crayons (I've had them for almost a year and hardly used them - then I tried with the blender pen and am in LOVE!). I want to have them ever present on my desktop so I can just grab and color, but the tin in way too big. I don't like it. I'm looking for alternate storage ideas and I just can come up with anything I like very much. Has anyone done anything like this or have cool ideas to keep them handy, but still separated into color families??
TFS, amy

I am having the same issue. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and used them last night for the first time. I agree the tin is way big. Now I know why they divided them in color families to sell. Any suggestions would be great!

I don't like the tin either. I don't color with them. I use my waterbrush to touch them and lift color to paint so I have put all of mine in a pretty cup, point up and never take them out. I can see each tip and have access to it.

I keep mine in small stamp boxes by color family. I tried putting the in a bigger one for a while but had trouble locating the colors. I went to the small boxes and I'm a happy camper
