I have decided I either want to get watercolor garden or watercolor gardenII, any thoughts on which I should get?? I have never worked with these floral themed stamps!
I prefer II. It has a looser, more artful style to it.

Funny! I started out with the Watercolor Garden II set and waited forever to get Watercolor Garden. I've been having the time of my life with it.
I love both and couldn't really choose. I always check out all the samples before I purchase a set. Whichever set I save the most samples to "case" is the one I'd go with.
I have watercolor garden.. love it/hate it ~ the curved stem drives me nuts!! other than that I use it a lot! I have WCG II arriving on Monday can't wait to use the straight stem
Wow, I think I have to get more stamps--can you believe it??
I have the first WG set, and I absolutly love it :!: I have used it more than any other stamp set than I own. It is so versitile and everything you make with it looks good. I thought WG II was so similar, that I wouldn't bother to get it. I got on this thread to boast the glories of the first set!
BUT, after reading the glowing reports on the second set, I think I have to go shopping---DARN

I got WCG 1 about a year before WCG 2. I really like WCG 1 better. There are SO many stamps with that set - several different kinds of flowers - more than iwth WCG 2. Also, there's that great sentiment - 2 doesn't have a sentiment. WCG 2 is more like Terrific Tulips w/ the two-step stamping. I love the leaves in 1 and I think they're much easier to use.
Check out the gallery of both and see which samples appeal to you more!
