So, I've done A LOT of stamping in the last few years. At least every day, even if it's just one card. I recently made 15 birth announcements for my cousin and used the Alphabits set. I had to stamp the Alphabits letters 6 times on each announcement using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. And guess what !!!!!! I pulled a muscle in my stamping finger
This has NEVER happened to me !! Anyone else?

Oh that is too funny - you are giving the saying "stamp til you cramp" a whole new meaning today! I have definietly had a sore wrist before - espcially from folding a lot or gluing things on over and over for swaps! Hope you feel better! I'd ice it down, read a good book, not do any housework today and tell your family you are "off the clock" the rest of the day! We always say we will file "workman's comp" for our crafting injuries! We work so hard!
Heheheee.... I thought I was the only one. I have definitely cramped a finger before. Every holiday. I remember when I mademy sister's birth announcements with the old style corner punches.... my right arm and my chest on the right side was killing me the next morning. But everyone loved the announcements. Hang in there.....and I hope your finger feels better soon so you can get back to stampin.
hehehehehe right after I got my starter kit in January I stamped for 2 days straight just about... my arm was so sore had to put away everything for a while just because my arm was to sore to move!!!
Like Kar, I ended up with carpal tunnel like symptoms after a marathon stamping session. I wore a brace for two weeks before it was better! I guess stamping, like everything else, needs to be balanced in our lives. It just when I'm in 'the zone' my mind thinks of nothing else. Oh, I so love being in 'the zone'. Carpal tunnel is worth it!
too funny i bruised my pointer finger on my right hand when my stater kit got here--it swelled up and turned a blue purple color--at first i thought i broke it somehow then the next day it was just colored and not quite as sore! :? go figure! i too never knew stamping could be dangerous!
