It is a gadget for making really straight neat scored lines on your cardstock. Scor-Pal is one of the Splitcoast featured companies. Here is their Forum

Does it do the same job as a bone folder?

Just got mine a week ago and I love it! It does more than a bone folder, you can make wonderfully crisp, professional looking creases. Check out www.debbiedesigns.com for a beautiful diagonally scored background. I have made a number of them. I also make a frame around the edge of my card sometimes with it. Envelopes are a cinch with it and so fast - I love making DP envies for my cards! It was worth every penny! And making boxes, treat bags, etc....so much easier!

The Scor-pal is so much better than using a bone folder or even a Fiskars trimmer with a scoring blade!

The scoring tool is blunt enough that it doesn't tear through the paper like my Fiskars scoring blade did sometimes. And I love that I can make several score lines without even moving my cardstock - great for multifold cards and projects.

It also has little dots to designate where to score for an A2 gate fold cards. And little triangles desginating where to score to fold an 11" piece into thirds.

It's my new best friend!

Go to the Scor-pal forum here - LOTS of great info and project ideas there! As well as www.scor-pal.com - their website.
