As for trends ~ remember when so many of us were buying spots they went on back order?
Great point Kymbers! My answer to you is NO. I don't think you are doing your recipient a disservice. Because unlike in the rest of life, these trends/fads aren't really trends or fads. They are all of us learning and discovering them together. The greater your arsenal of tricks, the better stamper you are, IMO. I still think crayon resist is the bomb. I've got some tiles I'll be working on today!!

Kymber, good to see you back!! I hope the tiles are still "in" enough so I can get some help in how to make them! I haven't tried them yet, and I think my customers would like them, once I figure them out!! And yes, I remember the back-ordered spots! I didn't get any spots - I went for all the full-sized pads. But I did get the BB Craft spots when they came out!

I also remember when paisley background went on backorder thanks to the fab cards in the gallery.

That's what I keep thinking. We learn these together, and then move on. But there's a whole world of people out there who have never seen it, never heard of it. To them, we are state-of-the-art, cutting edge!

how about the canvas trend - you'd be hard pressed to find a card without it!! [okay, slight exaggeration!]

Here's a site where you can buy the Z Becky Brown purses. I came across them while searching for the best prices on punches. The best thing about this site is that it has flat rate shipping. I've never ordered from here so I can't vouch for them. Those purses sure aren't cheap!

I just thought of another one, Remember that fad that when there was a new SU promo people would get upset about whether or not it was a good thing to release the information on SCS right away. Then there was the whole squeaky leaky inccident, followed by a lot of hurt feelings. Boy, I'm glad we got over that one. It got old real quick.

Oooh, ooh, what about wine glass lamp shades. I still have the template in my computer and haven't made one yet.

I remember there was a love fest for stamping queens (complete with tiara) and a lot of avatars with hearts.

Well I for sure got on the paisly wagon and the just jeans. I remember skunky and butt stampin and I followed Sereikastamper and baby updates. Do you remember Jen Balcer's green face during convention 04 ( so glad she got to go this year). I still LOVE the Tearing Edge

What About the SCS Queens....and RAKs for the queen....I'm not sure, but this may have been prior dirty dozen fan club.

Trivia: Can anyone list all the queens??

In spite of the fact that SOME people seem to think my work is a fad  , I have decided to write at least one more episode, which you can find here:

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Of course, you never know...with enough chocolate, I might just keep writing ;)

Well, I'll give it a shot: First was Julie, right? Then JanTInk ... Feel like I might be forgetting someone here, UM I remember PJB, but then she gave it up to Karixma when she was so ill. Then didn't we die out with saying "all the moderators"

I guess I don't remember as well as I thought I did. Am I right, or who am I forgetting?
