Default What do YOU do with wire?? Looking for examples.

Other than making your own curly clips, what else do you do with the wire. Thanks for your suggestions!

Twist it and curl it to form a name, a music note, the top knot or tailfeathers of a bird. Use it to attach beads or a layer of cardstock. Hang a diary key from it. Wire on buttons, Hang a tiny bottle from it or a miniature picture frame.

All kind of things...

I just received a card in a swap that had wire coiled behind a monkey with a hula skirt. It made the monkey look like he was hula dancing. Very funny. Not my card, so I cant post it.

Smile

Great for bud antennae(sp?), or to use as clothesline between 2 eyelets.

In one of CK's latest idea books (I think it was "Tips & Techniques") it showed making a shape out heavier gauge wire (like a flower, heart, Christmas tree, music note, etc.) and placing it on packing tape, trimming around the packing tape and then using that "sticky" area (inside the shape) to apply glitter, beads and basically anything that would stick. They're really pretty. Sorry, I don't have any pictures to post since theirs are copyrighted and I haven't tried it myself yet. I put it on my "to do" list of techniques to try though.

I hope that made sense.
