the paper piecing punch? (NOT the piercing where you punch dot holes in, but the one that comes with three parts to punch out).
I got mine before my Demo days and now that I have the word window punch, I never reach for the paper piecing punch. I'm considering putting it up on the BST but I don't want to regret it. I have seen cute pics on the gallery but I prefer to use the word window punch and I'm thinking it is pretty easy to cut out my own cardstock in the shape of the paper piecing punch if ever needed. Any input?

Yeah... the more I think about it, I can't believe it was a "Must have" earlier in 2005. *rolling my eyes* Surprising how quickly we change our minds! It's going on the BST...

My DD had made a card using pieces of different colored paper. It took her forever to cut out each piece. When I saw the paper piecing punch, I knew she had to have it. The shapes were almost the same exact size and shape as what she had done. I couldn't believe it! I surprised her with it, and she loved it! I, personally, have never used it. (I don't have the word window.) I guess it depends if you think it is your style or not. It is certainly faster than cutting up all of those pieces!
I got it and it was traded on the BST board almost 6 months ago! I never used it, except once and the project just didn't turn out right. I like longer scraps (or if they're short, thinner scraps) when I do that type of card.

I've been debating if I want it or not. Long before they came out with it, I did a title on a scrapbook page using similar pieces of cardstock. It wasn't too hard to cut them out myself. Plus, like Joella, I sometimes want to use longer pieces than the punch makes.
That being said, one punch is a lot easier and quicker than snipping it myself.
I have one and enjoy using it, though it's not for everything/everyone. It's great for sun rays, turkey feathers, and wacky geometric shapes on cards. If that's not your style, trade it and don't look back. Like J+E's Mommie, I know that I won't be cutting those pieces on my own!
