ok, so I experimented last night, and made my first ever pink and brown card. but when I finished what I'd planned it just seemed like it needed something, but I couldn't figure out what. any ideas? I tried to add an attachment, but it didn't work. here's a link to the card in my gallery. it's still pending though. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Cute card, I think it needs some embellishments. Maybe you could try some ribbon or eyelets. Post it when your done so I can see the finished product!!

I agree about the dimension...it needs some contrast, so stamping an image on vanilla or white the size of your "diamond" and squares and add them there will give it more "pop." It's such an elegant card!!! Pretty!!

You might consider adding three brads above the middle and inbetween the side squares. It might be something different if you don't want ribbon. I agree that you could mount the squares in a different color to make them pop.

I vote for a gold organza ribbon bow above the middle square. Or maybe thread the ribbon through two holes and bring them out again so the ends stick up. Badly described but someone else will know what I mean. Elegant card though! Good job.
Definitely embellishments. Maybe some beads strung on wire and wrapped around the top with "tails" trailing down the side?

Do you have Little Layers Plus (the hostess set?) That flower would look awesome if you stamped in basic brown on US vanilla, cut it out and did some shading in pink with a blender pen.

The flowers are a great addition. I tend to do the same thing. I get to a point with a card and then I'm stuck. Maybe I should post the cards in my "not quite done" box.
