That's such a touching story; sorry that your friend died at such an early age. Your screen name is a nice way to remember him and the fun times you had.
Good luck posting your cards and don't be discouraged if you don't get lots of comments right away. The challenges are fun and a good way to get more ideas for cards!
Thanks, Dianna.
I'll get up the courage to post someday...
I found mine in a catalog I got in the mail. Some sort of Italian home decor. There was a set of 3 "little gobblins" One had his finger up his nose; piccadillie nose. One had his finger up his butt; piccadillie bum. And there was a third one, but I can't remember it. Anyways, when I started getting on the internet I needed a name that wasn't too familiar.
frogiella is a nick name my college roomate gave me when we first met and she saw the frog quilt my momma made for me as a graduation present. That was... fall of 95, and it stuck.
When I signed up, I was Nick's Mom. Since then, we've found out that he doesn't like for anyone to call him Nick. He only likes people to call him Nicholas. I'm also now Alyssa's mom too!

I made it! Dec 2006-July 2007!
My nonstamping, weight-loss blog sort of.
My first name begins with I and my last name is Hunton so I chose to use parts of both but didn't want to be too off the wall with what I was "huntin" to I picked fun becasue isn't that what life is all about? Hence 'Ihuntfun'.

My family collects moose stuff and "alces alces" is the Latin name for Moose! It is different and so far it hasn't been taken when I have registered for forums and such!
Mine is the same as I use on all my computer addresses.
green- favorite color
gem- different way to spell it ( greengem- emerald also my favorite stone, and its green and my birth stone... )
32- how old I was when I set up all my accounts.
Mine is so boring compared to some of the others and I guess it shows that I didn't put much thought into it. NW, my initials and loves to stamp is pretty self-explanatory!
When my cat-loving girls were little, they had a favorite storybook called "Captain Kitty." "Captainkitty sailed the ocean blue. Tabby went as his good first mate and Pearly and Mew were the crew.... " It was originally my younger brother's book, but was passed on to my children. We read that book over and over. When I was deciding on a username, captainkitty just seemed to fit, so I've been captainkitty ever since.
Mine is erbobbin. I live in Eaton Rapids (er) and I love to sew and quilt so I tacked on (bobbin) A bobbin is the little round thing that holds all the thread other than what's on the larger spool. Typically the bobbin holds the bottom thread when sewing. I'm not sure how original/creative this is but it worked for me. If I could go back and redo it, I'd use my real name, Karen Wegner. This is a fun thread. Thanks.
OK, here goes. When I first became a SU Demonstrator, I was going to a team meeting and realized I had not stamped my name on the back of my swaps...I grabbed an ink pad and my swaps and when I came to a stoplight I would stamp one or two. I got caught, tho because in my haste, I pulled the inkpad apart(you know the newer style SU pads) and couldn't figure out how to put it back together and so took it in to the meeting and asked how to fix it. They all got a big laugh at me stamping at stoplights. I thought it would be a good SCS name when I signed up here.

One because I have been a Florist for years. Two, I love flowers and grow loads of them in my gardens. And three, I grew up in California the late 60's-early 70's when that name was popular. So, Flowergirl stuck.....the 8591 was the year I was born backwards. End of story!

Really interesting thread! Loved reading the responses! monkeymama comes from the fact that I always used to call my 2 kids monkeys! My DS still calls me "Mama", but it was extra cute the way he said it when he was younger!
(I don't remember if I've replied to this thread before)
My screen name is the same as my domain name, which I got from being owned by two furry ones. When they're together they almost always seems to set each other off whether it is purring, rat racing through the house or just being a pain in the rump.

Mine is just because I was trying to come up with something easy to remember and easy to spell...Paper because I like paper crafts and kissy for no real particular reason. I wanted paper hearts, but it was taken on blogger. I was trying to have some uniformity to SCS, my blog, and Etsy if I start a store there at some point.

Mine: It all started with a little blue pill called Ambien...
Lol, seriously, I DO baa for food when I am on Ambien. And I see fairies. And green elves. And I talk to myself and pretty much sleepwalk all over the house.
ibaa4food means I baa for food!
Well, mine is a bit boring really. I chose my (much adored) springer spaniel's name Chablis. He was born last year when all pedigree dogs in France had names beginning with a 'C'. Then I found out someone else on here already had Chablis, so I just put French in front of it as I live in France.
Mine is the first four letters of my last name - and is a common shortening /nickname sort of thing. I think most of my husbands family has been addressed as "Hey Torm!" at one time or another.
Mine is also self explanatory. I am a cat lover and had 14. Unfortunately one has passed on but I keep the name the same in rememberance of that wonderful cat. He was adopted by us when he was 10 years old. The owner just gave him away. Then he was terrified of the dog where he was staying so he hid in the basemet. We took him and within 2 weeks, he needed an operation because he had cancer in the third eyelid of one of his eyes. He went through 3 years of chemotherapy successfully( uncommon for them to survive that long) and then developed another type of cancer and died within 2 months. He was trusting, affectionate and adorable. He accepted us from the first day and loved his home and us. He will always be my special "angel."

How wonderful that he got to live his last years with such good peeps!
