I was gonna do this as a poll, but I couldn't make it work. guess I need to figure that one out.
so last night I added up my wish list and was surprised that even with all the accessories that I want (including all the ink and re-inkers). it only came to $2800. I though it'd be closer to $4000. so please share! what does your wish list total? I hope I don't have the highest total! I already have a lot of stuff!
> $168 of that is new ink colors and craft spots. I'm asking for the spots for Christmas. Last year, my DH didn't buy me a single SU item!!! C'mon, all he has to do is call our neighbor. How easy is that?
$850 and thats on top of the stuff I've already ordered. That is why I became a consultant so I could get a discount and reap the benefits of my spending and addiction, LOL. ;)
I guesstimated it at between $650 and $700. But only about $150 of that would be stamp sets. The rest is the 2 families of craft spots I don't have, the classic pads I still need, the rest of the re-inkers, and I'd like to start buying cardstock in all the individual colors. Some of the stamp sets that I have on my wish list are WAY at the bottom. I'd much rather buy the ink and paper right now. There are only 3 stamps sets and 2 background stamps that are up high on my list. Oh, and that figure also includes quite a bit of ribbon and some eyelets as well. I'm really debating about buying the other 2 Hodgepodge sets I don't have, which of course would bring my total up a bit.

I actually keep my wishlist on an excel spreadsheet. Am I sad or what?
I'm an AROC - anal-retentive, obsessive-compulsive. I have it all on a spreadsheet and keep adding to it every time I see something on SCS that makes me want to buy. It keeps growing and growing. I'm to the point where I color code when I can buy it and what will have to wait until the next time I order.

When the catalog first came out it was just over $1k. I've gotten some stuff, decided against other stuff, and added even more...so I'm not sure what the new total would be. Of course, it is the alphas that kill me
My list is every changing but in the hundreds. I am a new SU Demo so it is easy to keep changing when I see what others order and what they do with them. ;) Once I get the new mini, it will change yet again! I am running an AWESOME special for my customers right now to just get more hostess benefits for myself. I am not letting them use it as part of clubs or other hostess orders to get a family of ink pads at 20% off! I believe that you need to give to get.
I'm another one who keeps my wishlist on a spreadsheet. And I track what I plan to purchase by month and what I've already purchased. My (current) total is about $200 - including stamps, paper, ink & the crayons. But if someone gave me $1000 to spend only on SU, believe me I could spend every penny!
This is my "yeah, I wish" wish list, not my realistic wish list. But it comes to about $970 and that doesn't include all the inks and ribbons. Making out lists helps me to prioritize and stick to my budget and also avoid impulse buys. So even though I may have too much time on my hands, it actually does prove useful to write it all down. Plus, it's fun!
Gosh, I'm glad there's someone out there that has more than mine...which is about $2500. And that's just stamps, no inks/paper/embellishments. No, I won't get them all...I don't have the money or the storage room...but it sure is fun to have the list! And my demo also has it which is very handy.
I am so glad that others have huge numbers like mine of 2850. I am fairly new to SU and have bought quite a few sets but there are some new sets in the catalogue that I really want plus many retired sets. My DH just looks at me as I already have quite a few stamps from stamping for 2-3 years. He is waiting for me to use all the stamps I have then I can convince him that I just have to have more..............! This is just the greatest hobby and a wonderful creative outlet. We had our own business for 25 years as garment manufacturers and designers. Stamping and collaging allows me to learn so much more and use the creative juices that we all have. I just get so excited about Splitcoaststampers that I could shout it from the hilltops. It offers so much to so many! I have never seen anything like this site in all the years of business. Kudos to all those that have sent this site-up and maintain it. Also, thanks to the dirty dozen for their creativity.

Thanks for asking the question of amount on our wish list. Can't wait to see what the next mini-catalogue offers........think I am in trouble.
I'm afraid to total up my wish list because I just know that it is going to be a big number and the chances of me getting what I want are slim to none. :(
Whoa!!! I thought that my order for $55 worth of background stamps was a LOT. Either you guys have way too much money or way too much time.
That's why it's called a "wish" list, unless I won the lottery I would never actually purchase all that stuff.....in fact some of it's been on my wish list for years it just keeps getting bumped down when I see something I want more
lol! I'm surprised that your "wish" list's are all so small! I agree with cannontc, my wish list is everything I'd get from the catty if I won the lottery! I'm not saying that I'm putting in a $2800 order anytime soon, but if money were no object then what I would want would add up to that. ooh just think of the host benifits! I could get all the host sets that I want, and then some! hehe
now be honest! if money were no object would your wish list really be under $1000? I'm not saying that it can't be, some people don't want as many stamps ink and paper as others, but really?? would it really be that short of a list?
anyway, I guess I'm just surprised at how many people said their wish list is under a grand. some of us just have bigger wishes than others huh? hehe
Michelle
I'd have to say my wish list includes atleast one of each item in the cataloug! how much that is ? I just don't have the time to add it up, and of coruse subtract all the stuff that I already have, and the minis add to it and they keep putting out new cattys every year!!!! We'll never have it all

lol! I'm glad I don't want it all! there are actually a few things that I don't want like charming children, or the gnomes. but you're right! we'll never have it all! it's all a conspiracy I'm sure!

I added....and mine is a modest $1,810. A bunch of that is getting the rest of my collection of craft inks and refills. I'd also like a complete collection of spots because they're so portable. I always have to keep replenishing paper supplies and such, but what I really don't want to add is what I've spent since I started. The world is better off not knowing. And then there's the winter mini coming up.....arrrgh!
Yesterday was a slow day at work, because all you people's posts made me make my own Excel worksheet with my wish list, and it was much less than I thought it would be. Without adding reinkers or cardstock, the list came to 697.40, MUCH less than I thought it would be.
Still seems like a lot though when you have a new house, new bills, winter heating costs, and at least $500 dollars invested already in your stamping cabinet contents.
