I ask this question, because I think I have the answer for myself, anyways.
I was doing some watercoloring tonight and had to re-paint one image 5 times before I got it right. Insert heavy sigh here.
Each time, when I was almost done or half-way done, I would make some mistake. Drop of ink I could not remove. Did not let it dry, so got bleeding. It went on and on. This always seems to happen to me when I watercolor....argh.
Not being able to find something on my stamp table that I had in my hand, and now I cant find it, but its probably right in front of me, but I am looking so hard I dont see it!! LOL
Happens all the time!
My Family asking me questions. I love having noise just as long as no one needs me to use the part of my brain that answers questions. I just can't do it, I've tried and I inevidebly have to start my project over. So I just don't do it anymore!! :-D
my cats deciding to chase each other across the table stepping on open ink pads and leaving cat prints.... or deciding they have to lay down in the middle of the table on top of whatever may be there!
fingerprints..i always get ink on my hands and then i touch the paper....there goes an entire card because i won't give someone a card with a big ole' thumb print on it!

Ditto!! I had a punch in my hand. Put it down and then spent 20 minutes looking for it. I still can't find it. It's in there somewhere!!

I'm always losing things right in front of me! ARGH!
I used to get inky prints on stuff too. :( Now I keep a small plastic container on the table with a damp washcloth in it, and wipe my fingertips off a lot. I rarely have that problem now. I just hope I don't look like Lady MacBeth - cleaning my hands all the time!! LOL
I've pretty much learned to keep stuff away from my Stampin' Scrub so I don't spray it... (doh)
So what's left ... When I cut several pieces of CS and realize I've screwed up the measurements. Still do that.
(Don't ask my DH about the cupboards we ordered that were the wrong size because of me... fortunately we were able to use them!)
Yeah sometimes I'm a danger to myself!!! ;)

If I was to say just ONE thing, it would probably be getting a "crisp, clean" image...hence the reason I use inexpensive GP white...I would go broke otherwise! I have been known to stamp the same image 10 times, with a few unkind words in between.
If I could say TWO things ( ) it would be those unexplainable, teeny, tiny "dots" that just appear around my stamped image...WHERE exacty, do they come from? Certainly not from anything I have done ;) !

Working on a card and everything is going along swimmingly and... I somehow manage to lay just one little corner right onto the edge of a stamp pad and it's NEVER a place that's embellishable (!). Always time to start over. I need a dye ink eraser ;-/ .
You ladies have about covered all my pet peeves!! The finger prints in a place I can't cover or embellish probably frustrate me the most - I had to cut off the rest of the card recently and use the image and layers on something else because of this.

If I could stop "losing" things while I'm stamping, I could spend a lot more time stamping. I'm planning on organizing my stamping area with some shelves etc and hope that having more open space on my desk may help with this. It's crazy! All the things I lose while I stamp! Ack! Not just little things either. I've been known to lose the catalog that I was using to case a card.

Double Ditto, here!! Oh my gosh - it's so frustrating and happens to me all the time! I will have layed something down just moments before and then I just cannot find it! I'm certain there are little gremlins in my craft room hiding things from me and laughing hysterically because I'm going nuts looking for them!

Do we stamp at the same table?? That has to be my biggest aggravation, too!
OMG, I can relate to all of the above, except the cats, no fur kids here. So I'll add something new. I have cabinets above my work space and I abosolutely hate it when I leave a door open and bang my head on the corner of the door. Not nice words come out of my mouth for a while.
When I am being careful about all the doors being open at one time I kind of look like a spaz when I twist my head up to make sure I'm not going to hit the door.
I know I COULD shut the doors after I get the item I need, but remember the complaint about not finding something in your stamping space? Yep, that's my problem too. Actually, my problem is having too much stuff to work with and not keeping in touch with what I have.
I love the look of a single colored image on a white card, but every time I try to make a card like that I end up getting a smudge mark somewhere! Then I have to cut the piece smaller and layer the image! Arrrgh!

Getting almost finished with a card and realizing that the best choice of ribbon is the one that I hadn't bought yet because I thought I would never need it!
Working on a card for hours because I had this brainstorm, then when the card is finished I look at it and say,"this is the ugliest card." We need to have a gallery for misfit cards. Sometimes it reminds me of the Christmas show Rudolf the red nosed reindeer. No one wants a Charlie-in-the-box. That's how I feel about some of my misfit cards.

Or looking in my stash for the perfect ribbon or embellishment and finishing the card, only to find an even more perfect ribbon or embelllishment that I didn't see the first time!
My pet peeve is when I stick the layers down crooked. I just cringe -- working so hard on everything until it is JUST RIGHT and then I go to assemble and -- blip-- it's off by just a touch. ARRRRGGGGGG.....

I absolutely hate when I can't find an embellishment or tool that I thought I packed away in the "perfect spot" after the last time I stamped....obviously its not perfect because I never find it until my stamp session is done!

We need a way to post our cards annoyomously in the misfit gallery.
What drives me crazy is ME - for so many of the reasons already mentioned. I get my fingers in my ink pads and then on my card. I'm constantly losing things on my desk and I know what I want is right in front of me. I also tend not to put everything away, so I work in a 12" x 12" area on a 36" x 36" table. UGH I must change my ways.

Almost all of the above but I've learned to accept that I will smudge, have crooked cuts, etc. but the one that really bugs me is to decide to make something using someone's instructions (book, magazine, blog etc.), get halfway thorugh the card and realize they left something out of the instructions URGHHH!!!
Once I was making a card and the instructions said "turn your back to the card" for the life of me I couldn't figure out how I could see what I was doing if I turned my back to the card? What she meant was to turn the card over to the backside but it cracked me up.
Another time I tried several times to make a version of a concertina card and never could figure out the instructions, I had my friends try (we're all advanced stampers) and no one could figure it out. I wrote the company and never received a response. I finally made the card they way I thought it should be made and it was cute, but still, I paid $24 for that book...

Yeah! and sometimes there's ink on the side of my hand that I don't know about & lean on the card and.... BAM-O! Another ink spot. GRRRR:twisted:

Gotta love 'em but my kids drive me insane when I'm trying to create....
My eldest is five and the second she sees me bring up a set...omg it's like a moth to a flame.
My son loves to colour with me and usually ON my project if I turn my back for a second to get #3 who is still a baby and needs constant attention to remind her that we love her........sigh.....

Well, my kids for one things. As soon as the stamp hits the ink, there they are nagging me,lol.
Also, and I do this a lot, I glue things down before I should, then i realize that the card NEEDS a brad, or ribbon or something and I have to rip up layers. UGH!
Some of my ideas seem so great in my head, but when they actually are put on paper...ughhhh, not so cute!! It can be very aggrevating at times, especially since I have very limited time to stamp.
But I would guess that happens to most of us now and again!!

Mine is constantly looking for something. I try so hard to be organized, but even if I have it all on my table I seem to set it someplace I can't see it. My husband was talking to me one day while I was stamping, and I think I had to look for three things while he was there. I think this is the main reason I haven't stamped much lately. It's supposed to be relaxing...not frustrating!
I'm so compulsively organized that I clean and put away items immediately after I use them. Then of course I need the same item(s) again and have to get them all back out again. I then proceed to clean them and put them away immediately after the second use AGAIN...I get so frustrated at myself ya think I'd learn but noooo...I'm sick I tell ya...sick!

So I'm not the only one this happens to?

my eldest does still does this! sorry but it's true:twisted:
the thing is......SHE'S 26 YEARS OLD NEXT MONTH!
luckily she lives in her own place now...but attends EVERY stamp camp, then stays and messes up my stuff "creating" new versions of my camp cards...
I don't have many stamp sets so when I go in there, wanting to create something and can't find a stamp set that I want to use so I just end up sitting there for an hour not doing anything or making a card I hate.
Mine is when I get too much ink on my block or excess rubber and I end up with a corner or edge on my stamped image. It drives me nuts! It really gets to me when I have been really careful to avoid this very thing and it still happens.
