Question

I looked at JoAnn's today for the transparencies. There was a pack of 10 for 12.99, then off brands, that were as inexpensive as 50 sheets for 9.99.

Any suggestions as far as looking for a certain brand, or quality?

I would bet the 50 for $9.99 was because they are standard, and not designed for inkjet or photocopy use?

And, the other expensive ones probably are?

I bought a 10 sheet pack of inkjet transparencies at Wal Mart for $6.99, Hammermill Brand.

HTH,

I bought the Hammermill at Walmart too. I think you should use the inkjet type even though they are more money.

Whatever brand. Make sure they say INKJET. I was doing a project for school once and bought the cheap. Oops. Needless to say I was driving around at 11:00 pm trying to find it to print at the last minute. Someone asked about smearage a few (several) posts back. Give the dye inks a little extra time to dry or lay a piece of scratch paper and blot. I found that this is one case where craft ink ACTUALLY dries faster.
