Default what kinds of stamp sets would you like to see in the next s

Since people are righting down what they would like to see go.How about a list of things you would like to see in the new catalog.

I would like to see a stamp set similiar to one that retired and was never replaced. It had names like father.mother, son, daughter, sister, brother, aunt, uncle.this way birthday cards can be more personalized.

Also something for a baptism,
communioun,confirmation.

more for a realgious holiday for christmas.

easter stamp sets for scrapbooking.

sentiments or even some sayings for those of us who use stamps in scrapbooks.

I would love to see a set with tools in it that are not to child like. A nice pencil sketch of say a pair of pliers, a hammer, screwdriver, saw, even some nuts and bolts or nails that can be used for a background.

I would also like to see a "TO/FROM" stamp that says "TO/ LOVE FROM" and leaves enough room to write in more than one short name.

And some new verses for the inside of cards..... but ones that have a matching stamp for the outside. So like "Wishing you....." for the outside, and then "A wonderful birthday" or " A Merry Christmas" or " A magical new year" something like that would be nice. You get something for the front and the inside of the card that matches in style.

So glad you asked this, I love to give my 2 cents on these things.
I would love to see an elegant wedding set. I dislike both that we have now. I want a detailed elegant looking bride & cake! (although I like the cake in Simply Sweet!) & sayings like "best wishes on your wedding day."

More Christmas sets!!!! I was upset when they retired so many of them and only brought a few new ones in! I would also like to see some kind of sets that described the seasons. Like 5 stamps in a winter set....winter, snow, baby it's cold outside, sledding, something like that but a set for every season. I know it would be great for scrapbookers as well as card makers too!

A religious Christmas & Easter that offers coloring opportunities--don't like the full look of the ones available.
Love the outside, inside card sentiment idea!
Tools are a good idea--more masculine stamps!
MORE CAT STAMPS!!!! that aren't too cutesy.

I agree with Charmed. I would like to see some new verses for the inside of cards as well. Also a few more Christmas sets would be nice. And more stamps geared towards the male gender.

I make a lot of invitations for parties and showers so I would like to see a set that has images such as cocktail glasses, wine glasses, etc.
For wedding & baby showers, I think a pregnant lady, in the same style as Paris in the Springtime, would be adorable. Maybe some lingerie in there too (for the bachelorette parties). I'm really not a party girl...........HONEST!! I just think these would be fun stamps to play around with.

Default What kind of stamp sets?

I'd like to see some sets that combine easily with others: a basic invitation/thank you set that has you're invited, a party, celebration, place, date, time, RSVP & a Thank you -- that would coordinate with several other 'character/decorative' sets like animals, babies, wedding stuff -- all could be used for invitation/thank you's/whatever. I know most moms with young kids will be sending out birthday party invitations & then thank you's for years to come so that'd be a great investment & I could just add another set from year to year with the character/deocration changes.

I would like a larger bunny that could be used on general spring/Easter cards. (Somebunny New is so cute, but larger stamps limited).

It must be difficult to design a pansy stamp that works well, but one that works well would be great.

And a tag stamp - a large one - 3.5-4 inches long. It would be great to stamp the tag and then stamp hearts or flowers over it for an interesting edge when cut out.

I really appreciate the coordinated sets where a background or wheel matches the set.

I would like to see more patriotic sets, maybe a bold line flag or a set of all the old flags up to current.

I'm way over flowers so anything but new flower ones would be great - I really like the bolder ones and ones that can be more masculine and outdoorsy. More "grown-up" looking ones for those w/o kids (I'm not saying take away the kid ones cuz we need those too!

I agree with the other posters that we need an elegant wedding set and a cute pregnant set, and one for cocktails - I mean, I KNOW they aren't supposed to drink in Utah, but doesn't the rest of the U.S.? <grin>

I like everyone's new ideas and I just think SU should have it all! LOL! (no I'm not shooting the moon or anything) :P

Cheers!

I couldn't agree more about some cocktail stamps and with a pregnant lady! you could take your idea of the lingerie + drinks = the pregnant lady ha ha ha.

I's also love to see some more non-secular Christmas sets.

I'd love to see more "boy and girl" sets. Think back to Fall for all...Snow Angels.....Good Ol' Summertime, Be Mine, Have a Heart..... That is the sort of set I always buy, even if I have to hunt it down on eBay.

A soccer set! I don't want a set that has a ball for every sport...I want a soccer player, ball, goal net and a boy and girl soccer player.

I'm so glad there's going to be a skateboard set in the Spring Mini...my son is into skateboarding and he wants that theme for his b-day invitations this year!

I like the idea of the pregnant lady. Maybe the pregnant lady looking into a full lenght mirror and seeing herself holding a baby. OK.....that may be asking a bit much, but I like the idea.

I'd love to see more stamps with ethnic images, esp. African American themed. In general, it seems to me, they're very difficult to find.

I'd love the see a theatre set. You know, with things like the "comedy/tragedy masks, a stage, scripts, anything theatre/stage related. My daughter (age 19) does lots on theatre stuff and there aren't really any good stamps to use for scrapbooking that kind of thing.

I could really use vintage tea/coffee set, and verses or sentiments for the inside of a card that match Wonderful Words. I'd also like to see patriotic and military related sets and a prettier or cuter cat set.

Ooohhh - I totally agree with everything everyone has requested. I would LOVE to have a four wheeler set, a pregnant lady set, a lingerie set, a game set, a wine glasses/wine bottle set...

I would also really like to see a get well set with a bandaid, thermometer, etc. It could also have a nice Get Well verse and an inside verse.

I would like to have an offering of individual breeds of dogs. For instance, we have a black lab. We also have a rat terrier. I would like to have a single stamp of each dog.

I would also like to see Stella 2. Something that we can scrapbook our STAMPING with! LOL!

I totally agree with Charmed about the tools. That would come in really handy sometimes. I think they should have a set of hobbies. I have nothing against one set per hobby but a multi-hobby set would be great. I always needed a bike set but they have that is the spring mini now but I would like one set with a bike, snowboard, maybe even juggling. I just know I have had requests I couldn't do cause there was no stamp.

Would love to see more MASCULINE especially for a birthday card that is not outdoorsy! My husband and father in law do not collect cars, fish or hunt so it would be nice to have something different, other than relying on "lovely as a tree". In fact, I doubt if they're crazy about trees... (although they have alot of cards showing them  !)
I agree with you gals about the need for sayings. The new greetings are great and I'd love to see them more generic, like "good for you" or "you're the best" I love having a saying for the INSIDE! Versitile please!
Oh yea, also more like 'tags and more' with every season!

I agree! I've made cards using Kanji and All Natural, but I don't want the men in my life to keep seeing the same images and themes over and over again! Coast to Coast and Set Sail are on my list right now for more masculine cards. Fortunately Set Sail looks generic enough (IMO) that it won't necessarily be associated with sailing.

I would love to see some "accessories" sets for horses and dogs. Something like collars and leashes, dog bowls, bones, toys.
For the horses I see two separate accessory sets. One for "english" like saddles, bridles, riding crop, tall boots, short boots. The western one with saddle, bridle, rope, cowgirl hat, etc... Or general like a bridle or halter, hoof pick, brushes, combs, bucket, carrots & apples...
All of these small like the accessories in the girlfriends set. The would make nice embellishments or backgrounds to the existing stamp sets.

I like all these suggested ideas and I agree with the Bunco type set....maybe one to use to represent Games..like dice and cards, and some fun sayings.

I would like a mystery set to use with theme parties...like a Sherlock Holmes feel...could be used for scavenger hunts.
Magnifying glass, footprints, big question mark, sleuth notepad/hat/pipe, Mystery type letters, word stamp CLUE. ect, ect. ect.

And Jumbo wheels to coordinate with them all

Candy bar wrappers! - some real FUN ones to go around candy bars....

Default Stamps I'd like to see

We all have such great ideas, would love to work for them, as would most of us, lol

I would love to see more wheels. (I've forbidden myself to start with the new jumbos just yet but....)

It would be great to have some that are more elegant rather than flashy. Elegant Greetings is my number 1 all time favorite and some nice flowing, script-type of Thank you, Happy Birthday, etc., wheels that weren't quite so younger-aged style would be awesome.

I also would love more get well and sympathy sets. Happy Healing was cute, loved the band-aids. There are TONS of "Love you" type stuff which for me is pretty much a waste. I would only say that to my husband, and maybe a few family members and he'd would rather not receive 15 cards a month, ya know???

I think they are trying TOO hard to design things that other companies won't copy, and the new, fashionable stuff, that they've lost sight of their base and foundation. It would be a shame for them to drop out of the number 1 spot because they had their eyes looking too far from home. i.e. In Full Bloom is cute but it's not a building block, it's a fad.

Ok, better shut up now, went way over my $.02, lol

I love making cards for my DH, I would love to see a golf course scene kind of like they did coast to coast except use 18th hole at... or 9 hole at... I hope I made sense. I think that everyone had great ideas! What a wish book!

I would like verses for the inside of cards. I think that would be great!! I would also like more fairies, like flower fairies. Also I am having a hard time picking out a suitable Christmas card for next year. Some teddy bears in Christmas attire would be a hit.

Default stamps

I just love Angels, Faries, and Victorian features, so I would love to see those. I would like to see longer verses that you could put inside of your cards. I would also like to have stamps with mountain scenes on it!
