What material is used for covers in card organizers

What material is used for covers in the card organizers (so beautifully explained in tutorials) and where can it be purchased. These have such possibility for Christmas gifts this year!!Sarah

I don't know the answer. But I would like to bump this up so I can find out too. Some type of cardboard. How thick? How stiff?

I thought it was just regular cardstock, no? I think this would work - to cover the cover pieces with mac tac - so they were sort of laminated. That would make them heavier and wipeable. It's cheap and easy to find - Home Depot, Walmart, possibly even Michaels has it. I want to make these for Christmas gifts too. I don't have a binding machine though, so I think I will get mine bound at Staples. It's only about $3 (CDN) for each booklet.

I don't know the real answer BUT you could use chipboard covered with paper (or whatever).

What about laminating in a Xyron?
