More "Sketches" types of stamps.
Also wanted to ask all the SU demo's if you have to give regular feedback to SU on what you think they need to add to their range in terms of embellishments, punches, themes and stamp ideas, etc., and what your customers have asked for? I would imagine that they would take notice of what we 'consumers' want when putting together their new ranges for the various catalogs throughout the year. After all, isn't the 'customer always right'?!!
Just wondering anyway ....

I actually did send this suggestion to SU!
I'd love to be able to get paper (patterned and cardstock) in smaller packages...ex. 10 sheets of a single color of cardstock or 10 sheets of one pattern of the patterned paper.

I love the idea of a pirate set for boys, or an 'army' set for boys

I'd love to see a bold alphabet (like stencil pattern)

They might add the 'wavy' crimper

As far as stamp set themes I'd like to see some 'updates' to what they have currently.

I love the idea of the pad instead of 'heat and stick', but it's so hard to know...the items were probably picked long ago...so what did they 'think' was going to be 'big' in stamping/papercrafting?

A distressing kit?

I also love the idea of another color family with 'fuity' colors...(think of ice cream sherbet or sorbet.)

So many things to think about...

I hope to see: Loads of Love and
a new accessory set to go with it. It would include new items to put the in the back of the truck like dogs, Easter eggs, watermellons, pumpkins etc..
YES! I second (or third) that idea! that would be awesome
& another wheel for the truck~ It's too cute

I would also like to see some HAWAIIAN stamps! I was there last month on vacation & found some at the LSS but want some from SU

Balmy Breezes is more West Indies/Caribbean style (I love that too) but I want Hawaiian style stamps also.

It would be cool to have stamps with images representing different regions in the US & Canada -

Some new alphabets Like maybe one out of 'Bamboo' You could use that for any tropical type card or scrapbook page.

Fun subject!
I really did suggest these two things to SU:
For Demos, a special album designed specifically to hold card samples, offered as a supply item.
More sports stamps (like rowing, my '92 Olympian DH's love).

Other wishes:
Tag punches, oh yes!
Colored pencils totally re-done in all 48 colors
Rectangle frame shaped Coluzzle templates
New colors: a true aqua and peach
More eyelet colors
Textured white and vanilla CS
Jumbo sized alphabet sets
acrylic paints
copper Zig painty
more patterned paper choices

Love the ideas for Loads of Love accessories, bleach pad, more boys' stamps, more album color choices, and 8x8 albums too!

SU, I know you've got to be spying... hear our plea!!

I would love to see more dog stamp sets. I don't like the one in this current catalog. I LOVE Bow Wow and can't find it anywhere.

I would also like to see colored brads.

I would be completely satisfied with that!

Default New Catalog

Hmmm - I would like to see more focus on Christ in the Easter and Christmas stamp sets. I was quite disappointed with the Christmas selection in the 2004/05 catalog. I also like the Scripture stamp sets they've been coming out with. I wasn't a stamper when the vintage/antique cars were available, so would like to see something along those lines, too. And anything "woodsy" - like the fishing sets, "Yukon", "It's a Beautiful Life," etc are always good. Retro stamps from the 40s-early 60s eras would be good, too. And definitely more sets like the "Summer by the Sea" and "Seaside Sketches" would be great!

What a fun post. i would like to see...
- Craft Stampin' Spots can't afford all 48 colors in both craft and classic
- Tag punches
- Brads, Brads, Brads (especially divide the vintage set to be sold individually)
- More gingham ribbon (especially green)
- More designer papers
- Designer papers sold in mixed boy girl style (not all pink or all blue)
- Love the idea of the bleach pad
- Xyron large enough for 1/4 sheet of cardstock (I've sent a lot of people to Michaels's for that)
- Ribbon in baby yellow and designs (dots etc)
- More petal prints stamp set
- and most of all I really hope they do not retire WCG or WCG II or Lovely As A Tree. I love those sets. WCG II is my favorite in the entire catalog.

Default new catalog,wish list

In no particular order:
#1-sketches style "kids in love"
puppy love, kitty love, goldfish bowl and gender neutral small child feeding them or gazing at them
Grandparents and kids
kid kiss ,kid hug, kids holding hands
grownups reading to kids
#2-also in sketches style "celebrating women"
homebirth/midwifery/doula/classy breastfeeding
any women gathering:book club, cheering moms, minivan moms
a line of real women at a charity run -lots of people would love to scrap&celebrate their favorite cause -bring back the looped ribbon to stamp in appropriate color ! I use mine for everything!
#3-LOVE the "Loads of Love" suggestion with accessories kits ! seasonal , masculine sport, masculine jobs, camping/cottage, gardening, moving house/antiquing and on and on and on .If it fitted somehow with fave Ted's wagon that would be sweet!
#4-precut tags in all color cardstock, pencils too ! craft spots of course!
Is every thing in every color too much to wish for !?!?
#5-mono that actually works-argh!
#6-more wearable logo stuff that we can personalize for ourselves and to give to customers ! a handsome free tote with a logo and MY NAME & NUMBER would give me more walkin'around advertising than the handsome calendar ! and re-use bags are less waste!
#7-The great rewards clothing should be supply order stuff!
#8-Canadiana, french verses, more inspirational phrases that aren't necessarily biblical- Maya Angelou? Yes! Please!
#9-a fireworks stamp- I demo a great one using "Fresh Flowers" but over all too much work! Fireworks/ carnival/July 1st or 4th/New Years would be a perfect 2-step candidate like "Simple Sketches"
#10-reverse and collage stamps, I've heard about them and I'd like to try them out.

This is the best I can do before bedtime, at 5 inthe morning!
I agree with everyone else too "great minds think alike...!"

Wow! Some great suggestions here!

I would be thrilled to see some SU colored markers with calligraphy nibs. That would be great to be able to write sentiments inside a card or scrapbook and have it match.

A Native American or SW style set that is realistic like Dream Catcher.

I agree with everyone else who wrote tag punches and eyelets & brads in more colors. It would really be nice to buy them individually too.

What great ideas everyone has - let's hope somebody gets these to SU.

For me - love the accessory idea for Loads of Love, soccer themed set,
overall boy themed set, tag punches, eyelets, buttons in all 48 colors.

Also additional patterned paper choices, distressing kit.

Default New Catalog

What great ideas. I love looking forward to the new catalog coming out!

I, too, would like to see the eyelets, brads, ribbon, etc. coming out in all 48 colors. It would be great to be able to buy in individual colors!

I am wondering why they did away with the background papers that were availabe a few years back? I wasn't a demo then, so I don't have them, but everytime I look through the old catalogs, I wish I had them! I have to think, though, that with the scrapbooking indutsry being such a large one, that Stampin' Up! will have to increase all products in the scrapbook line somehow! I SURE HOPE ANYWAY!

I am hoping that with the stamp sets they keep everyone in mind! (As I'm sure they will) I've had several customers who really dislike the styles in some of the mini catalogs and then totally love another mini. What I've seen is that there seem to be certain "styles" that appear. Some either love them or totally dislike them. My hope is that Stampin' Up! will continue to keep everyone in mind and not necessarily CHANGE everything to the "new" trends. Keep some of the "old sytles" to accomodate those who are not as exepienced in stamping or up to date on the newest trends! My "new" customers seem to be the ones that just want something very simple. I know their "appetites" will change once they stamp for a while and learn new things.
Can't wait until JULY!!!!!!

I'd like:
1. More gingham ribbon colors.
2. Would love to have SU colors of gingham papers.
3. Would like to be able to purchase just 1 aqua brush and not the set of two for $16.95 yikes!
4. Prisma type pencils in SU colors.
5. I love the idea of a bleach type pad.
6. Wonderful words III (a little smaller letters in that same script) or Simple sayings III set (with script like "Just because") with the phrases: Thinking of you, With Sympathy, Happy Birthday, Just for you.

Now I'm anxious for the new catalog. Nan

What great ideas everyone is coming up with!! I would love to see:

A MINI SEWING MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!

They show sewing on a ton of their examples and not everyone has a sewing machine. I think White makes a nice little one that could sell for around $25-30.

Also, the Xyron, I definately second that!! I finally bought one and wonder what rock I was living under that's for sure!

I want to see better wedding sets. I just haven't been too thrilled about what they have had lately. I would also like to see more masculine sets for the "not-so-typical" guy. My husband is an electronics/computer "nerd", so I would like to see that kind of stuff. Unfortunately, I kind of doubt if there is much of a market for that kind of stuff. Oh well, one can wish.

I would also like to see more sentiments (like sincere salutations), more scripture verses/sayings, an everyday flexible phrases II set, and more birthday sets.

Craft spots would be awesome.

Brads in all (or most) colors would be super (purchase individually).

When it is all said and done I don't really care. I just want to see that new catalog. I would not do well working at SU headquarters. I'm sure that many people there know the "scoop", and I wouldn't be able to keep my big mouth shut. :?

I don't think anyone has mentioned a Girl Scout/Boy Scout set yet. It seems that those two are always in high demand on the B/S/T forum.

I agree. When the new catty came out and I saw the new dog set, I cringed! They look like little grimlins! Although with one poodle stamp (in Paris in the Spring), I can't expect another one, can I? :(

I'd like...

Paint Prints from (sale-a-bration 2005)
tag punches with the ability to layer
sell the paper piercing template and pad separate from the kit (I have everything else purchased separately)
like the bleach pad idea
more accessories for loads of love
more Christian sayings for Christmas
the silent setter (for eyelets)
more nature drawings that could be used for adult masculine cards

And this isn't product... make the stamp images, in the catalog, black again - not grey. It didn't bother me at first, but now really does, and I know a lot of people who didn't like it right away. But I LOVE SU!

Ditto on the Loads of Love and scout stamps.

Also, a new Business Memos-type set. We've had the same one for years.

I would like to see
- eyelets in all 48 colors, sold separately
- brads in all 48 colors, sold separately
- more colors of gingham ribbon
- more words for Everyday Flexible Phrases, like 'you', 'merry', 'Easter',
'to', etc.
- a set that includes the words 'Happy Easter' on one line, not one on top
of the other
- new sets for the hedgehogs and penguins
- tag punches would be great
- I also miss the background papers from a few years ago

I'd love to see the journalers in more colors. I don't think going with all 48 would be realistic, since some of the soft subtles are just too light to journal with. But I'd love to see:
brilliant blue
garden green
ruby red
really rust
close to cocoa or choc. chip
eggplant envy
night of navy
rose red
taken with teal
glorious green
only orange
I used to enjoy journaling with all sorts of colors before I became a demo, and now I'm just basic black...mostly because there aren't enough choices.

More Album cover options.

So far we don't have much to choose from. They've hinted at more & I hope they really increase the options this year.

Craft Stampin Spots!
The craft kit stuff broken out so you don't have to buy it all.
More designer paper
A celery color (sage is SO over!) love the fruit colors idea
textured paper (even just some nuetrals)
different scrappin kits, can't sell the same ones to the same customers!
more flexible phrases words
more salutation sets with stuff for the insides of cards (don't you get so tired of everyone looking at the outside of your card then looking inside for something? like my husband? Who I've told a MILLION TIMES "there's NOTHING ON THE INSIDE! JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THE DESIGN! ) oh sorry for the ranting tangent....

A new color wheel with the color combos on the bottom of the inspiration sheets
zyron
tag punches
more colors for the jumbo cartridges
At least ONE decent logo item that is feminine other than the apron

that's all for now. Just started with the craft spots, and the rest came pouring out!

I would love to see some Textured Paper, more designer paper and ribbon. I think it would be really cool if we could purchase a single stamp out of a set. There are a few sets where I really only like or would use one or two stamps. I resist buying those since I don't see the value in paying for something you don't use. Unfortunately I know that is not real cost-effective for SU.

BTW - What are Twinkling H2O's?

I posted before I read all five pages, so I had to post again to say what a great subject. There are some really great ideas here. I especially like the ones about offering 24 word stamps and letting us choose our favorite 6 or 8 to purchase. I haven't bought a lot of word stamps because I wouldn't use most of them in the set. Wonderful Words is my favorite. I would love to see more like that.

I hope SU is taking all this in.

StazOn cleaner
Un-Do
Tag punches would be AWESOME!
Whole pkgs of same sized Metal tags would be nice too (impossible to do make & takes with these without going broke!)
I hope they bring back almost everything from the Spring mini!

Fun fun fun!

I would love to see a little stamp that said, "Pull here" for those moveable/interactive cards.
