I have been in the Divine Secret Sister (DSS) group since the first of the year. Here is the
link to get more information. When you click on the word welcome in the upper right hand corner of the screen, next to your username, you then select group membership and join it there.
Currently, DSS has already started a round. Rounds run for a three month period with a month off in between. The next round will begin on September 1st. There are two different ways you can join. The first one is called Ultimate Unos. In this group, you are required to send 1 card a month to your secret sister and spend a total of $10 on her during a round. The other one is called Dynamic Duos. This one requires that you send 2 cards a month and spend $15 on her during the round. The whole point is to keep your identity a secret until the end. You will be someone's "little sister" and you will receive cards and gifts and you will be someone's "big sister" and you will send them things.
It's a rather fun group. This round, I was lucky to get a talkative little sister. We email about 3-4 times a week. I personally send her a card a week with something little in it, like additional images used in her card so she can CASE it. I treat my little sister the way that I want to be treated ... Spoiled Rotten!
Also, if you are looking for someone that shares your interest, get involved in a group. Another great group to join is Random Acts of Kindness (RAK). Basically, you send cards to help brighten someone else's day. A sub-group in there is called Wish RAK. This group is where you "wish" for items, such as stamped images, punches, embellishments and paper, and others "grant" your wishes. You start off with 3 wishes and the rest you have to earn. You earn wishes by granting other people's wishes. I have been in that group since February and I have granted almost 200 wishes and I have received a photo box full of images. It's really nice to come home and have "happy mail" instead of bills in your mailbox.
I hope I have answered your original question and have given you some ideas on how to get involved here in Splitcoast. If you have any other questions, please feel free to PM me.
