Hi,
I was going through my wish list and realized that I don't really have any "kid" sets on it so I was wondering what set do you most often use for kids cards?
If you have girls, Fairy Nice. It's in the summer mini, so buy now.

I like crayon kids casue it's uni-sex but for little girls the pretty princess or fairy nice- for boys good sport or the space ship one that just retired
I think "It's a Party" is great for kids - both girls and boys. I don't have it *yet* but am planning to get it very soon- especially now that our kids are starting to get invited to birthday parties more often. I think it would be adorable for birthday cards for friends.
I'd also like to hear some more opinions on this topic.

If your kids like sports you must go with one of the sporting sets. Also, if they love a particular animal get that set as well....i.e. horses, dogs, cats.
I use Let's Party a lot for kids' cards. I also use Fun with Shapes and Simply Circles, and just do kid colors-- bold brights in either boy or girl colors. Usually my kids know the person well enough that I can ask them what their favorite color is, and I'll use that. I almost always personalize kids' bd cards by using alphabet stamps to put their name on it-- they love that. Here's a sample of this: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The colors didn't scan well-- it's supposed to be green galore, so it looked much better in person!

Reason: to correct link
Are you wondering what you can use from the "adult" sets you might already have? I was looking on my shelf, and think that Announcements, Shapes and Shadows, Smorgasborders, Delightful Doodles, Fabulous Four, Summer by the Sea, Seaside Sketches, Fall Fun, A Little Love or Simple Shapes could all work depending on the age of the child. You could also use Loads of Love or Fun Filled, or make M&Ms with Alphadots.
The key is to think versatility -- you don't need "kid sets" to make a great card for a child!

I have Buttons, Bows and Twinkletoes, Little Layers II (with the fish, kite, ladybug and flower) and I recently ordered the Monkey Business out of the summer catalog. I'm frustrated that some of the other cute kids stamps, especially for boys, are not longer available.
I think the girl sets are well covered, but I wish SU did more for the 7-13 boys, like maybe a wizard/Harry Potter sort of set and a soccer set.
I find the sets are either too young or too old for the boys. So the Spring and Summer mins with Roll on and Rip and Shred are fine for older teenagers but there is nothing in between.

Oh, I agree!! A wizard set would be *WONDERFUL*!!!
