I'm fixing to go purge my Sizzix stuff I'm not using and hoping I will find someone who wants to do some trading for the above.

Ugh. I've got 16 sets that I would really, really like to get. How many I end up with is another question I have to take up with the moneymaker Negotiations starts today.

Hmmm... I'd like:
Terrific Tulips
Toucan of My Love
Fintastic
Crazy Alpha
Stipple Rose (for my mom)

I can't get them all, so I'll have to think on it a while and maybe get the rest after they're retired on Ebay... some will still be affordable!

Toile Blossoms
Toy Box

That's just looking at the list once, I'm sure I will be adding more when I have a chance to really look at it.

Toy Box, Angler, and Set Sail. I'm just starting to teach a cardmaking class, and I need some sets for masculine cards.

Buttons bows and twinkletoes-but won't they replace it with something better?????

and toile blossoms

I think they really did a nice job of weeding out (according to my tastes anyway )

I am thinking about Birthday Banter... that one has been on my list since it came out. Also Simple Stripes background. Those are the two that will probably be on my June Stamp club order

Goin' Buggy
Quiet Life
There are a few others that i like but I think I won't really use, and there a quite a few that I'm glad to see gone to make room for the new (fintastic)

This was the "ideal" retirement list for me. Only 2 of my sets are on the retired list (including one I really don't like anyway) and none of my "gotta" have it sets are on it. Plus I'm not crazy about the summer mini. So I'll just buy supplies till I see the new catty - save my $$$ for that.

  • Bitty Blossoms
  • Soft Swirls
  • Sassy Saying II

There was nothing on the retired list that I can't live without. I'd get Simple Florals and Terrific Tulips if anything. The sets I really want are will carry over into the next catty so I'm good.

I was debating the same thing, but I figured that Special Day is a more all-occasion stamp which would include birthdays as well.

I cant' say that theres anything on the retired list that I want. I only have about five sets off of that list anyway and they are ones that I love!! I couldn't of asked for a better retirement list than this one. Now I can't wait for the new catalog to come out. Two months is a long time to wait!!

I was thinking birthday greetings too but special day can be very versatile it can be used for birthday, wedding, graduation.depends on how you look at the sayings on the stamp. That's a possiblility for me too.

I'm definitely going to be getting the Asian-themed stuff, Ancient Asia, Oriental Brushstrokes, and Bamboo II. I've been looking at them for a year and now I just need to take the plunge...plus I've got an Asian-inspired project in the works for cross stitching too, so I can make a card to go with it when I give it to my friend!

Also gotta get Soft Swirls and Perfect Petals....maybe one or two other ones just for grins.

I gotta go with the general consensus here, most of what's on the list is stuff I was never interested in, and what I do like off the list I've already got for the most part. Not near as painful as last year! DH will be so pleased. ;)

I have been through the list and have 8 sets highlighted. I now need to narrow it down to a couple of must haves. Tough choice.

I am lucky there is nothing on the list that is a gotta have for me. Only Terrific Tulips did I think about, but my mom has it so I will just use hers. I'll be saving for the new catty.

The only one that I CAN'T live without is Shapes & Shadows, so I'll be ordering that.
There are 8 more that I would like, but will probably hold off on ordering, and if I REALLY regret it later, I'll look for them here or something.
I only have 3 on the retiring list! Woo hoo! Of course, I don't have many stamp sets....
