I am interested in buying some clear stamps just for my personal use but have no clue what companies sell them. If anyone can help me that would be great!
Hi, I have bought some from a great company. 'Close To My Heart" - clear acrylix stamps. E-mail me and I can pass on a Canadian website that you can order online.
Hope this helps. [email protected]
There are many companys out there with their own lines of clear stamps. All clear stamps are not equal. These are a few of the companys that I know of that sell quality clear stamps.
A Muse Artstamps
Hero Arts
CTMH
Wordsworth
My Sentiments Exactly
TAC
I know there are more but my memory isn't what it use to be. HTH

Live in the moment and make it so beautiful it's worth remembering.
I love my Technique Tuesday stamps. They have the best Alphabets out there. Plus they are reasonably priced. I love CTMH as well but the tech tues. ones are my favs.
There are many that sell clear stamps - I have seen a lot of pictures from CHA that are showing clear stamps. The one thing I would be careful of is the quality - Walmart sells a line of clear stamps, but I have heard that people have a hard time removing them from the contact sheet, or they tear easy.
I am partial to CTMH
But, Technique Tuesday makes great clear stamps - very good quality.
Hero Arts, and so many others that are great.
If you can I would take them for a 'test drive' to see how they work and such

Further to what gmcbunny said, here's a quote from an email I received once.
Quote:
Many companies are releasing acrylic stamp sets. A word of caution, not all stamps are created equal. Acrylic stamps are made with either silicone or polymer , manufactured overseas or domestically. There are vast differences in these products, which are not immediately evident, the least in which is price.
Polymer is made domestically and is much better and more expensive. You will get a deeply etched stamp that will produce a clear and detailed image.
Silicone can go hard with time (in as little as 6 months), will yellow and may not have a smooth surface and thus the images may not be uniform.
Be cautious, a good price is not always the best deal !
And if you're interested in learning more about the different qualties of clear stamps & some recommendations, here are a couple of good threads:
I saw some Fiskars brand clear stamps in J's one day. I've never tried them. The come in pkgs, on sheets and are 12.99 a piece. There's several stamps and a couple of borders per pkg that I saw. HTH.
I wish I knew what size the set of Fiskars stamps are (ie. the size of package around the stamps, and maybe the size of the largest stamps in the set). This info is never available, tho.
I love My Sentiments Exactly's clear stamps, and would definitely buy Gel-a-tins and Technique Tuesday. Autumn Leaves has some beautiful designs but I like these stamps slightly less than MSE or TT. The cheapies by All Night Media are caveat emptor -- you get what you pay for.

Also try River City Rubber Works, fun images, excellent prices and high quality. I have ordered several times and have never been disappointed.

Be careful of the brand of clear stamps that you purchase. I have clear stamps from Inky Antics, My Sentiments Exactly and Stampendous. All of them work great with pigment ink. Images are crisp and clean looking.
I DO NOT recommend the clear acrylics made by All Night Media. VERY POOR QUALITY!!!! I got so frustrated trying to get a clear image that I was ready to throw them in the trash. Don't waste your money on them. I was very sorry I bought them.
Thank you for all of your input! I am so excited to buy a set for my personal use. I think I will buy a set from Autumn Leaves. I heard Hobby Lobby has their clear stamps half off this week.
If you like House Mouse, they just came out with a couple sheets of clear stamps. A Halloween set and Christmas sets. You can pick those up at Hobby Lobby or at HM Stamps ;)
MSE - My Sentiments Exactly make clear stamps. They are good and are not expensive. Checkout an ebay store "Called Simply Country Scrapbooking". She carries lots of crafty supplies including clear stamps. She is in Canada so you will get a good deal on the prices.

I contacted Fiskar at their site yesterday - they said most of their sheets are 8x8, with some 4x8 (I am assuming the smaller ones are the border stamps. You can view them at their site. At the top of their page they have a contact & they responded to my question very promptly by email.
