I bought a blue Cricut Expression from Walmart and some cartridges from there and Michaels. I had the baby bug and am so glad I upgraded.

Would you believe nothing? but don't ask what I picked up on Nov 21 when I was in a large town to the east of me 4 hours and made it to Joann's, Michael's and Hobby Lobby in the same late afternoon. And of course the two packages that came in the mail yesterday don't count because they were purchased on -line prior to T day or Black Friday right? and the last minute stop at LSS on Tuesday because she wouldn't be open from Wednesday till Monday doesn't count either---right----right?????? oh come on now--- help me out here.

A friend & I went to 2 JoAnn's, 2 Michael's and 1 Starbuck's today. Both of us bought several Cricut cartridges and miscellaneous holiday stamps. (I bought 2 Fluffy Christmas stamps - love this chubby cat. My 'rascal' cat is black so I color him/her dark gray. Have caught her twice tip-toeing across the top of my flat screen TV!!!)

Yesterday my LSS owner had the seasonal Cricut cartridges for $16.99. Those 3 were the only Black Friday purchases I made. The store is within 1 mile of my house.

LOL I did go to Joanns and OMG, the ladies were telling me they were in line for 3hours just to get their fabric cut!!!!!! CRAZY!!! Never went to Michaels either.... WOW I must have been sick!! LOL Im sitting here now and thinking I want to go to Creative Crafts in Corvallis, but I should be making my Christmas cards lol
Yes, I meant SCS. I love that store. And, it's walking distance from my house. Dangerous. ;)

And at Michael's, before noon they were signing coupons to allow you to continue shopping and pay after 12:00. Smart thinking for them: more time for people to find stuff to buy. I was good there, though.

Ordered from Taylored Expressions 15% off sale. Received 2 sets of Justrite 3 1/4" Christmas sets and a set of exclusive cuttlebug folders from Oh My Crafts in the mail today. Now to hold myself back from the December PTI release - LOL.

I went to Archivers for the first time at the Mall of America yesterday (Black Friday) and bought two little snowmen stamp sets and some Stardust gel pens. I also received a free ink pad with each stamp set. I also bought four or five Cricut cartridges. I think I bought three Sweet Treats, Locker Talk and Pagoda. (One of the Sweet Treats is for a co-worker who asked me to grab one for her if I could.)

I didn't buy them, but I got the HSN exclusive CB folders yesterday for my birthday. I just need time to use them.

I got my Unity KOM in the mail yesterday and some {ippity} stamps that I won in the mail today, but as previously mentioned, the KOM was purchased earlier so really doesn't count!! Back in August my dh ordered 180 calves, wouldn't you know it, they arrived yesterday so we spent the entire day getting ready for them. Great money-saving way to spend Black Friday!!

I actually wasn't going to buy anything, but I made the mistake of looking at people's blogs and I realized that four really cute brand spankin' new cricut carts would be on sale at Michaels this weekend and no one else had them. Just Michaels. I thought for sure that they would be sold out, but this morning, I found the two that I wanted. Woo hoo!

$70 gone. Oh well.

Lyssa,
What exactly did you do? Sometimes I wonder if I'll push the BS too hard. I know I cracked a Cuttlebug plate in half when trying out one with one of our dies or embossing folders. It belonged to one of my customers, but she said she had another, and it was a learning experience. The problem is each bad experience can happen again if we don't know what caused it.

Are you possible it can't be fixed???

yeah, it busted out all the plastic screw housings along one side on the inside. :o My sandwich was too tight. I know better... and I thought I had used that sandwich before, but evidently not! Whoopsie!

I agree about the adorable corduroy buttons, maryrose <snip>

I haven't bought anything. But the weekend ain't over, lol! I may lose the battle yet...

Lyssa, I'm just SICK about your BS! I was afraid mine was doing the same thing when I tried that same thing a couple of weeks ago, so I (fortunately) chickened out and reversed the crank and rolled everything back out. There's just a "feeling" I got that made me lose confidence that it would go through ok. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! If you were near me you could borrow mine for your BAB workshops. Heck, I'd be going to them, lol, so it wouldn't be a bother!

I need to amend my earlier post on this thread to confess a purchase from Gina K....and some storage items from QVC...and I think that is it, but not sure. I go for weeks and weeks without buying a thing and then something happens...

I ordered a GIANT order from Papertrey and they were not even having a sale. But it was more of a first of the month order than a Holiday Weekend order. haha.

Stampin up, 2 Red Cricuts, 10 carts, BIA, tons of vinyl, I guess thats the big stuff. Plus about $100.00 worth of other crafting stuff.

On-line I purchased the BigShot along with various accessories, kraft paper from Gina K Designs, eclipse masking tape, ATG refills, BG 6X6 paper pads and other misc. papers, Rubber Romance stamps; then from my local LSS I bought a 12" QK cookie cutter die, a Scor-It envelope maker (even though I already have probably a dozen envelope gadgets incl. a Scor-Pal, but I can't seem to get that "perfect" envelope!), glue dots, a few other small items... I think that's about it so I should be "set" for awhile!

Default Black Friday

I ordered quite a few stamp sets from Firecracker Designs by Pamela- they were 50% off Friday morning for 4 hours, then I had to go to work, so I missed any other sales and the opportunity to spend more $$$.

I was tempted by the Cricut specials- but I do not use mine enough to spend more $$$. I also want Paper at the Paper temptress, but cannot make up my mind what to order...still....!

I did not order anything stamping related for Black Friday weekend. Am I okay??? Am I getting sick???

But I did buy some snowmobile embroidery designs on-line so I can put them on a sweatshirt for my DH!
