Default What would your favorite set be if...

you weren't a demonstrator? Would your choice be different if you were just a customer? I'm not a demo, so I probably look at things differently. I don't sell my sets, and use retired sets all the time. I even have some that are so old, they're rubber-backed! I enjoy hearing other opinions about sets.

Default favorite set

I am a demonstrator, but don't actively hold workshops. I maintain my minimum purchase requirements by feeding my own addiction and purchasing supplies for classes that I teach. It's my understanding that retired sets and non-Stampin' Up! items can be used in classes. I tend to use mostly Stampin' Up! product...but to your question about a favorite set....That's a really toughy....I love them all, well most of them anyway. I love the cool things you can create with "Fun with Shapes". "Sketch an Event" is one of my favorites...love the variety again....I really like "Paris in Spring" also.... For my favorite or most used retired set....I'd have to say..."Vintage Postcards" I use it for collage cards...love it for that.

I am a demo who actively holds workshops and my opinion about my favorite stamp set does not have anything to do with sales. I believe that if I’m using something that I love, I will do a good job of selling it. My rule is that I don’t buy anything that I wouldn’t want to own if I couldn’t demo it. I sell retiring sets so I have cash to buy something else that I’ve fallen in love with, not because I don’t like it.

My favorite…hum that’s so hard.

Alphabet - Retro Alpha’s (retired)
Sentiments – Wonderful Words
Flowers – Paint Prints

My favorite is Espress Yourself.
It's not REALLY versatile ... but it's the first SU! set that I bought. And if/when it gets retired, I will keep it. It's become my 'signature set', since people know about my addiction to coffee. Yes, I've become attached to it. A friend borrowed it to make some tiles, and I went through withdrawal! :a
And the more time I spend with stampers, the more I come up with that I can do with it.

I think it would be hard for me to pick a favorite - I am spoiling Garden Collage right now. I guess my fav depends on the mood and what I am creating. So many to choose one favorite. I keep all my retired. More of a hobby demo.

Well, before I became a Demo, it was Watercolor Garden II. Now that I'm a Demo, I don't know yet..... probably still that one and "God Bless" (retired) I use those 2 sets together all the time on Notecards for gifts.

If I wasn't a demo actively doing workshops my favorite set would be: Hydrangea! I have always loved that set and still have it. I just can't use it for workshops!! :?
