I am sitting at work thinking I need to make a name tag for SA Regional. Can I run poly shrink through my printer??? Things that make you go Hmmmm.
PS: it is an inkjet not toner. Whew that would make a mess. Polyshrink on the toner drum... Had a professor do that at my last job. Ran inkjet transparencies thru the 50 billion degree copy machine. MESSYYYYY

i was told no when i asked last month for xmas ornaments.. UNLESS you buy specifically inkjet polyshrink. but i havent tried it myslef.. i took their word for it.
It's 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning and I am drinking my first cup of coffee and trying to get my teenager out the door for the bus. Time to get my youngest up to get ready for school and get myself ready for work.
Have a great evening!
It's 10:45 pm. The kids are finally asleep, and I should be getting ready for bed, but I'm sitting here playing with some new settings on my computer and streaming Sean Hannity. I am really goofing off!

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.
Polyshrink isn't super cheap but I want to make a cool name tag for regionals other than my workshop one. When I have used the sanding block I haven't had good results. Maybe I better stick with stazon and do something with it instead of sanding and running thru the printer.

Well it is 2 pm on Monday and I'm sitting here enjoying the last few minutes of quiet before the 5 kids I have asleep right now wake up. I trying to get my list ready for my first SAB order. So many things and so little money.
It's 3:25 PM and my students are collecting their papers, homework, etc. so they can be ready to catch the buses when they show up in another 5 minutes.
Kids are sure wound-up after a long vaction and us teachers are drained!
It's 6:10pm; dinner is cooking, homework is done, kids are playing, trash is at the curb & I 've cased two winter mini catty samples. Note to self: decrease intake of caffeine! LOL
It is 5:15. I left work early today and came home and took a nap (too much holiday, I guess) Now I'm thinking about where to order pizza from (pizza is our Monday night tradition). I did actually do a little housecleaning and made a run to the post office, so the afternoon wasn't a total waste!
It's 3:15 California time. I am supposed to be working on a motion I have due in a couple weeks. Instead, I'm looking at this wonderful site, and trying to plan my sellabration workshop. And thinking....what in the world ever made me think I wanted to be a lawyer? If I knew then what I know now, I would have told my mom I wanted to be a stamper when I grew up!!!!
It's 6:26 pm. I am waiting for DH to come home so we can eat dinner and waiting for one of my children to come in crying. They're running around like a bunch of monkeys!
It's 6:24 PM in Haddam Neck, Ct. and I just finished dinner dishes and I'm munching on a Christmas cookie talking to you ladies from all over the world...think about that! all over the world! How cool is that?

it's 5:30 TX time and I am checking out what I've missed on the site for the past hour since I left work! I stopped at Big Lots! to check out their Valentine's selection & bought some
Also contemplating washing dishes and dreading it. It was my first day back to work since 12/23 and it was a long day! Good, but long. Also, I'm hungry but I need to do dishes before I can enjoy a meal. I think I might rest for the evening, no stamping because I stamped for over a week every day for HOURS straight. Can you believe I need a break from it? That's so I can get back to it and look forward to it again, weird huh? :o
Polyshrink isn't super cheap but I want to make a cool name tag for regionals other than my workshop one. When I have used the sanding block I haven't had good results. Maybe I better stick with stazon and do something with it instead of sanding and running thru the printer.
I have some polyshrink that is pre-sanded... It's called ShrinkyDinks Frosted Ruff n' Ready. Works like a charm for me.
Also, DO NOT PUT POLYSHRINK IN YOUR PRINTER unless it is the kind that is made for the printer. Printers are very warm and it you will end up with melted polyshrink in your printer!

Why do you need to sand polyshrink? I never have and it always turns out so pretty. I am sitting here looking at the gallery. Trying to get some new ideas.
It's 7:15pm and I'm sorting the SU Cardstock File Folder Labels Swap #1. Been doing this for 3 days now. I wonder why I put myself through such things.

I just finished making a card and breaking my new Making Memories paper piercer from my new tool kit that DH bought me for Christmas:-(
I did however, find their website and filled out the form for a replacement. Seems too easy to be true, but I hope so. I am sure they know we scrappers and stampers are such a tight knit community, that they would want us all to be happy.
Ok I'm highjacking here: but Kimberly 47: Is that you and your DH? You guys look absolutly adorable! I love it!
Anyways... just got a call, the little boy I watched last Thurs tested pos for the Flu! My dd & I got sick yesterday & just thought it was something we ate. NOPE! I was hoping this was going to be short lived!
It's 9:01 pm here and I'm avoiding tidying the huge pit that my stampin/crafting area has become, even though I went to Target this morning and bought all the supplies (I hope) I need to get it all fixed up.
I'd start Procrastinator's Anonymous, but someone else will do it eventually, right?
*sigh* Off to organize embossing powder. G'night, Y'all.
It is 9:20 pm Monday. I am reading through threads, watching Las Vegas, and dreading my return back to work tomorrow-yuck! I have had a cold/ flu for 3 weeks and have done very little stamping over my holiday break :( . I organized my stamp room for 4 hours yesterday and a few hours today. I did not stamp one thing today another :( . I did however go to the grocery store this afternoon, did laundry, and ironed for the week- today was not a total waste, just a stamping waste.
well right now I'm reading my favorite web site, and thinking that I really should get off soon cuz I wanna try making a sample of something I'd like to make at an upcomming stamp camp. but I'm too hooked. so I maynot make it so far as getting off here b-4 bed time in an hour. BTW it's 9:38 here in Utah
Michelle
It's 8:49pm PST and I'm watching Fear Factor, waiting for Las Vegas. DH is sleeping (snoring) in the chair next to me and kids are in bed.
I have a question about paper cutters. I purchased a Carl Cutter three weeks ago, and My upline (and best friend) bought me a Fiskars paper cutter for Christmas. Both of the cut mutliple pieces of paper and 12x12 (and larger)
I'm struggling with both. Carl Cutter doesn't cut straight, unless I am standing over it, the arm is wiggly. Fiscars has a locking mechanism, which doesn't make it easy to cut quickly.
Neither cutter has a clear arm, so you cannot see exctly where you are cutting, like the small fiskar cutters.
Does anyone else have these problems or is it just me?? : )
I'm sitting here right now at the computer. Its 11:01 and I'm contemplating signing off shortly...
...but I can't because I have a warm purring cat on my lap right now and she is licking my arm as I type. In our house, it is a crime to disturb the cat, which means I MUST continue to surf SCS until the cat decides to get off my lap...
It is 11:20. I just finished a bowl of Malt o meal. (I coulnd't eat before my audition tonight) I am also carrying on a conversation with my new friend Jenna, that I met on SCS!!!!! Wishing we lived closer together so we could be stampin too!

surfing.... putting in time 'til I can crash for the night.... and correcting my son's calculations: no, we're not 1/184 done the New Year.... it's 3/365, not 2/365.... now where do you suppose *that* came from???? aarrgghh Think he's just a little anxious for next Christmas!?!?!?!
It is midnight and the cat is licking herself and she is still on my lap. As much as I like SCS, it is time to go to bed... Its been an hour now ... As much as I hate to do it, I just have to disturb the lazy cat
and I'm watching King 5 news, wondering whether I want to pull out the bag of 1/2 price scrapbooking goodies!!! So many fun, fun items! I'm going to sort them and head to bed early - stayed up until 2 last night (yes, it was a work night -- I just got carried away with layouts/scrappin).
Hi just sitt'n here in my PJ's, learning how this site works. I'm pretty new. posted a few replies and doing laundry. Great ideas on here. Lots of really nice people too. I'm in IL and its 12:09a here, right by St. Louis MO. weather is getting ready to change. Can you believe it was around 70 degrees New Years day. Now I think there is ice on the way. Everyone have a great New Year.
It's 10:30 here, and I'm in my pajamas listening to my 11 month old daughter cry in her crib. :( Not fun, but she got into a weird stay-up-late schedule over the holidays and now she has to learn to go to sleep at a decent time again. At least I can check in at SCS to keep my mind off it...
Everyone else in my house is sleeping.
Oh, I finished organizing my stamp area today! That was my Christmas present.
I had to join in and say what I was doing at 10:00 o'clock (PST) in the evening. I'm supposed to be cleaning. Yes, my stampin space is in desperate need of some cleaning. However, who wants to clean when they can be on SCS surfing for all kinds of cool and new ideas. I think is more therapeutic. Well, I must admit that I'm definitely addicted!
Ok...my turn, it's 10:59p.m. in Murrieta, California and I'm still in my scrubs when I should be getting ready to turn in for the night.
Here's my excuse for why I'm not....I have two warm heaters right next to me...Miss Maggie & Miss Mollie my two "Airedale" hum-dogs( 1/2 human & 1/2 dog) and I hate to move cuz it'll be cold if I break up the nest!
Also...I have a swap to put in the mail in a couple of days and I need to get some ideas for last minute details...argggghh!
That's it from Cali-Good night & Sleep tight...and don't let the bed-bugs bite!
It's 3:43 am in Virginia and I'm browsing. I'm a serial insomniac. Too tired to stamp, too wound up to sleep. Ugg. However, I do find good ideas this hour of the morning!
