Noah & Co. and I hardly even used it. It wasn't until several years later that I became a demo. That set is long gone by now. There are only a few I keep after retirement...I like to cycle my stamp sets out very frequently.
My first set was Alphabet Appeal Lower, I had planned to ONLY use stamps in my scrapbooks, LOL! Now I am almost two years behind in my scrapbooks because of making so many cards!
LaBullard, Is that Mr. Darcy (a.k.a. Colin Firth) in your avatar? Pride and Prejudice is absolutely my favorite movie ever, just watched it a few days ago when I was depressed and hubby was out-of-town! That's a terrific avatar!
Sugar and Spice - it's the little girls I never had.

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.
My first set was Bold Greetings (retired). Of course I mounted it without trimming the rubber first. My demonstrator never bothered to tell us that at the workshop. Of course I failed to read the techniques booklet that was included with my order too.
Mine was for Christmas gift tags. I think the name of the set is Tags, Etc. But I'm not sure because I got it in, like 2000 or 2001 and it's long-since retired. It has puns like "From Moo to Ewe" (picture of cow and sheep), "Merry Chris-Moose" (picture of moose). That sort of thing. I still use it for my Christmas tags.
My first order was Bold Basics with the Bold Bright stampin' spots, white card stock and white ribbon. I was amazed at how many cards I could make with just those few things!
Button Bear. My then-demo used it that night, and I was impressionable. I barely used it after I got it, but that didn't stop me from buying more supplies
I try not to purchase on impulse anymore. But I bought In Full Bloom when my demo used it at a stamp camp. I still LOVE that set!
Mine was "nice and easy notes" . My thinking was that if I didn't like stamping (ha ha ha!!) at least I could make up some thank you notes. I think the little Rx bottle with hearts on it is really cute! Otherwise, I don't even use them anymore, my style has changed a lot since then.

Mine was Cuddles & Tickles. I had three friends that were pregnant at the time...so I figured I would be needing that one. Then I had a workshop and got Hedgehog Happiness.
I am embarrased to say: I bought Year Round Fun thinking that it had so many uses and was the best deal for my money. Now my kids play with it, but I still use it to update my new calendar every January. My second order (well THAT's a different story  )
My very first order was Star Santa so I could make Christmas cards in 1999. I don't remember if I ordered any more sets bofore I became a demo or not, but my demoship started five years ago this week as I signed up for my birthday. Flutterbys was either my second order or in my kit, but it is still my all time favorite - will never get rid of it.
My first sets were Itty Bitties and Recipe Fun. I had to have the little violet stamp and the bunch of flowers "stamped by" stamp from Itty Bitties. I also bought the entire set of EE stamp pads, a bone folder and some paper and envelopes. I spent over $150 and had never stamped before  Since it was Sellabration I got The Fine Print, Natures Wonders, and Painted Garden and haven't looked back since. Natures Wonders is still one of my favorite sets.
The first set I bought was my Starter kit! I changed all the sets in it and I can't remember what exactly I got. I think You are My Sunshine was one of them. I had never been to anything SU! before I signed up. I saw them at a home expo in Sacramento and then found a demo closer to me on the demo locator.
I bought 2 sets at the first party I went to in 1997...one was foam mounted called Birthday Bear (I think...it had a teddy bear, balloons, a present, confetti, etc..) and the other was wood-mounted called Sprays, Swags, and Such. I wish I had gotten the bear one in wood, because I have used it more. They are too "country-ish" for my taste, now!
Mine was Tickles and Toes--I was 8 mo pregnant with my DS and had the brain storm that I would stamp his birth announcments before he arrived and I could just add the detail info. The order didn't come in until after he was born and I stamped while he napped...through the slits in my eyes! Needless to say, my DD's announcements were done on the computer...
