oh gosh! I haven't decided yet!! And just when I think, "okay, I have plenty of Christmas stamps...I can figure out cards with these, I DON'T need to buy new ones"....well.....you know what happens!
I have purchased two different pine bough and pinecone sets this year. One from Papertrey and one from the new Holiday Catalog for Stampin' Up.
Plus I have a set from last year I never actually used, White Christmas ( also SU ). But this summer I bought a window frame die because I was DETERMINED to use that set this year and NOT buy any new sets. LOL.
OH....and I love snowflake stamp sets so I ended up buying Flurry of Wishes and the matching punch ( also SU ).
I usually need about 45 Christmas cards. But I can't stand to make that many of the same thing. So far I am thinking I will use the White Christmas set with the window die cut and make cards that seem as if you are inside looking out at a snowy scene. Some with the Flurry of Wishes and that part of the sentiment that says "believe in the miracle".
And I have a tree die cut from Papertrey that will cut out a single tree shape plus another one that is in three pieces. I bought some cute plaid Christmasy DP from the SU Holiday catalog so I will probably make a few with plaid die-cut trees and put them on a kraft card base.
These are just the ideas I am knocking around right now. But we just adopted a 3 month old puppy so I find myself without any spare time to sit at my craft table and play! Hopefully, I will be able to make some time or this may be the first year in a long time that I send out store bought cards!!
My "go-to" stamps tend to be sentiments, with images being interchangeable around them. I really like this (retired) set from Close to My Heart: Merriest Christmas
I have some Heartfelt creations to use and I see Marcella from Power Poppy is coming out this next week with 5 new sets for the holidays so I usually love her clear sets.
I'm going to head to my retired stash and pull out stamp sets I never used. I have plenty of those! And they look a lot like the current ones being sold! Lol
Pull together what you have already.......I'm sure I have enough stuff to make a ba-zillion cards!

That's pretty much what I'm doing - it's SHAMEFUL how many of those stamps have never been used for anything other than my index! (I did get some new elves and a Tiny Townie from Stampingbella this year, though.) I'm still considering the soldiers...

only a bazillion? you need to get shopping! lol I also plan on shopping my stash and I have more Christmas stamps then I will ever need, but I am pretty sure I might have bought a few Christmas stamps recently but I can't remember lol it's been a crazy few months at work and I know I bought stamps, I just can't remember which ones.
A card using the Scentsational Season stamp + die set from SU came across my Pinterest a few weeks ago, and I picked up the set on Ebay. Since then I've found a ton more ideas, created a special Pinterest board for them, in fact! So although I do have others to play with (and will need to dig out some sentiments) I think I'll be using those for the bulk of my cards.
