What's the difference?

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Stampin' Emboss Powder and Detail Embossing Powder. I am placing an order tonight but don't know which one to order. TIA

Detail Embossing Powder is a finer grain, for those very fine line images. It's not as Chunky as the regular embossing powder.

It's a matter of personal preference. I prefer the Detail powder.

I prefer the regular powder on most projects as it stands off the paper more. However, when I emboss tone on tone (such as gold EP on metallic gold paper), I use the detail. Also, I usually use detail on any very small words -- like Lexicon of Love, Everyday Flexible Phrases, etc. -- because you otherwise will have difficulty reading the words.

I just get the detailed powders so that I don't have 2 jars of the same color. The detailed works for everything!!

I find detail harder to use in that it wants to stick everywhere.

My personal preference is detail. It's great for fine lines but also works for larger images.

Seems like I get a better "line" by using the detail than the regular EP.

I prefer detail too. I wish they made the copper EP in detail!
