What's sitting on your shelf/table not cut out? Everyday flexible phrases and Headline Alphabet for me. Everyday Flexible phrases I have had since last January.
Saw a great card using Lovely as a Tree that was just cut out after sitting for ages. Made me think of my sets waiting to be cut.
It just Hit Me I must not like mounting stamps that have more than one on the block. Both of these sets are like that. I love headline yet it has sat there for more than a month unmounted!
For me it would be Botanicals. I had to have it before it retired. And there it sits untouched.
I had thought about buying EFP but all the threads talking about how time consuming it is to mount has changed my mind.

I must be one of the bad ones, I still have Fabulous Four unmounted, I also have stipple celebrations, winged things, in full bloom, mostly flowers and probably 6 or 7 other ones still sitting on my shelves. I need to get out some of this stuff and play with it. I have christmas stamps that are still unmounted, maybe I will pull those out first and start working on cards. I loved seeing cards made out of vertical greetings and I had to have that set and that is still unmounted. This thread is depressing me!
Backyard BBQ. I got it at the last minute thinking I would "need" it for scrapbooking summer pics, but haven't mounted it yet. However, I have only had it a few days. I usually mount them (or make DH mount them) right away.

Holy Crap...........DH mounts. WOW....aren't you the lucky lady.
I have a couple of sets that still need to be mounted..butIi keep forgetting to get some cling mount (I leave mine unmounted & use acrylic blocks for mine...)
To help you procrastinators feel better....A few years back my SIL mentioned she had a few sets that needed to be mounted, so I told her to bring them over, I was working at a furniture store which was really slow and I could do them while I was there....So she brings me 4 or 5 sets...I do them, call her to come and get them and she shows up with like 20-25 MORE SETS!!!! (2 tote bags FULL!) All in all I mounted OVER 150 stamps for her...and you know what she said???? "I have more if you need something to do!!!" I almost PASSED OUT! She had been buying, buying, buying and not mounting or using them!!!! AGH! needless to say I told her she needed to do the rest and USE the ones she had before she could buy more .... LOL and to add insult to injust, she never offered to let me use any of them :(
I am OBSESSED with getting my stamps mounted the very 1st night I get them. I get sooo excited about seeing the box arrive. I like doing it. Its therapeutic! NOW if only I would actually USE them! LOL

You should have told her you won't cut em unless you can use em!

Send them to me! I will cut them out for you! I must be nuts or something, but I like cutting them out as much as stamping with them! As a result, I have no unmounted stamps, some I haven't used yet, but they are all mounted!

My MIL is the exact same way. Last weekend when I was over there I asked her if I could stamp a card with her sweet and sassy set, she said I was welcome to it if I would mount it for her. I then asked her how many more she need mounted..... EVERY set she owned.... about 35. So I mounted them all for her since I'm such a sweet DIL ;)
I do it the night I get them. The only set I took a long time to do was "Godspeed". I ordered it knowing I'd regret not getting it, but I didn't need it immediately.

Those exact sets are waiting for me. I have a few EFP mounted and I started to mount headline so I could do last weeks Way to use it challenge, but ended up getting lazy and using Pure and Simple, which I also just recently mounted it has been hanging around semi mounted for months as well. Still to mount:
Stipple Celebrations (at least 6 months old)
Buggies & Booties
Swell News
Nice & Narrow
Holiday Wishes
Along the same lines
Holiday Blocks

I probably have like 6 that need to be mounted. I know EFP & Simple Type have been sitting there since after convention last year. :( And I have an a retired lower alphabet that I bought in 2000! Maybe I need to sell it.
Well, you've all convinced me not to get EFP.
At one time, I bet I had 15 sets unmounted. I don't have time during the school year. Then, when you save up so many, your fingers hurt. Now, you're going to laugh....Heartfelt Thanks is the only one that still needs to be done. I don't know why. I love it! Too much time on the computer I guess.
I have a suggestion:
It used to be that I would sit over the kitchen trash can to cut out my stamps, but pieces always got on the floor anyway. I thought of something, which my DD thinks is a great idea.
I got the lid to a box from a case of paper at work. I just put the lid upside down on the table and cut away. It gives me a very large cutting area. When I'm done, I just dump it all in the kitchen trash, including the label pieces. Now I just store my craft scissors in the box lid so they are there when I get a new set.
I had a customer that buys tons and tons of stuff from me and from a CM lady and probably used about 1/10 of it. For stamps she'd mount the ones she needed to use, so she might even mount a whole set. When I'd have craft day, she'd bring just about everything she owned because she didn't know what she wanted to do and then she'd spend half the time she was there mounting stamps (and that was after she'd already arrived about halfway through craft day). She wanted me to mount them for her and I said NO WAY! unless she was going to pay me something. (Probably bad customer service on my part, but there wasn't a good reason she couldn't do it.) Customer B offered to do it, if she could have a set or 2 and Customer A thought that was ridiculous and that she (or I)should just do it for free for her.

Ladylinks better yet, come over here to Germany and you can mount and then WE can stamp. I've been here less than three months and I haven't found any stamping buddies!

What are yours?
Hehehehehe.....Heather,
Those two sets were an "issue" for me too. I have had EFP for over a year and only mounted a few that I used. Then I have headline for over a month and it just sat there. Just the other day I finally got the "kick in the pants" to mount both of those sets. I actually felt a sense of pride when they were done.
I have a bunch of sets that are unmounted, but they are mostly HA sets that I don't want to get rid of, but I can't seem to bring myself to mount them either. :(
I have a bunch of HA sets too. I have Art of Life which I love. It isn't mounted because I can't decided whether to keep it or try and trade it for something I can demo.
Sadly, they include the dreaded EFP set. I have a friend coming over to scrapbook tonight and since I have absolutely no photos ready to go (I have photos, but they're all on the computer at the moment -- I just need to replace a few of my ink cartridges, so my procrastination is just in a different place!!!) perhaps I'll mount them all tonight. Heck, maybe I'll replace the ink when I get home and run a few photos off aswell...kind of makes me tired just thinking about it 'though...
You all really don't want to know how many sets I have patiently waiting on my shelf to be mounted! =8-o I was Inspiration-Impaired for about a year, and did virtually *no* stamping. But did that stop me from buying? Nooooo. Since I now have a Personal Rule that I MUST make something with a set when I assemble and stamp it in my 'catalog', it's taking me awhile to work my way through the back-log! Progress is being made, however... At some point I'll get around to using all the sets I have been neglecting from the time before my Personal Rule was instituted. Sure hope I can remember why I bought them in the first place! ;-)

Congratulations to you! Mine are all mounted but one. I only recently found the idea of cataloging them, so I am halfway through that, but need a night of navy re-inker before I can finish. (Wouldn't want to have two colors in the catalog.)
Now, that said, I have probably only used half of them. So, I am impressed that you are going through and using each set! I too forget why I bought a set. Of course, the gallery is a great way to get inspiration!
I couldn't handle the fact that stamps are left unmounted .. I have to mount them as soon as I get them, even if it means I am up till the wee hours of the night
Too many to list. All of my summer mini sets since I was gone for the summer and just got back to them and now I cannot demo them. And all the retired sets from last years catty that I just had to have. I have never mounted my Ageless Adornment either and I had it for over 6 months now.
I usually can't wait to play with the new stamps I get. Life has been too busy lately I guess. I have fishy friends,Cruisin Christmas sitting there waiting to be played with.
I think it is an issue with the 2 on one block. I have an alphabet set I bought 2years ago from a party and have only mounted a-d. I also just received my flexible phrases and it sits waiting for me to assemble it.
