"Whether you believe you can or believe you can't, you're right." -Henry Ford
Also...a lot of the quotes/sentiments that you all have posted (and lots of other good ones!) have been made into stamps by a company called River City Rubber Works. And they DO have an on-line catalogue !!
I've been starting a collection of my favorite quotes - I hope to paint them on the walls of my stamping room when I get it unpacked! Here's some of my favorites:
Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. - Mother Teresa

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
What would attempt to do if you know you could not fail?
Those who have hope, have everything.
Remember, growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.
From the moment you believe you can do something, you can.
And, here's a fun poem:
Hark! Dear friend: Vain to choose or grasp unduly, broken is the perfect ball. And there are so many pieces, no one ever finds them all. The wise as on they journey treasure every fragment clear, piece them as they may together, imagining the shattered sphere. Learning ever to be thankful, though their share of it is small. Happiness has many pieces. No one ever finds them all.
Hopefully, I haven't rambled too much - enjoy!
Billie
This is way crazy and way off the current mode in this topic. But I swear I saw this on a plaque in a Cracker Barrell restaurant.

A male neighbor told me that one yesterday, aimed at my daughter as a joke, I replied with.. and don't black widows eat their mate.. It was so funny and he had no response@@@
My favorite is by H. Jackson Brown, author of the Life's Little Instruction Books. I believe he wrote the quotes, which turned into books, for his son as he was going off to college.
Live your life as an exclamation not an explanation.
I too have been collecting quotes...not just for cards but for inspiration...Here are my favorites:
