in this catalog or from any of the mini's? I have to place an order and I'm looking to get only to best and most versatile. So your job is to talk me into a couple of good sets. I am already ordering canvas(LOVE IT!), collage alpha, and wonderful words. I have in full bloom and petal prints and EFP. Those are my fav's. Now how about you!!
Thanks!
Lisa
Amanda-I would never think of using all natural so much. See, this is why I like to ask questions like this. Thanks for you help!
Darla- I love Botanicals! I was using it all the time that I finally had to find a new favorite set, because that's all I would use. Trop blossoms looks like a really fun set to use, too. !thanks!
I got Sketch an Event in my starter kit. I thought it would be OK, and that I could use it for demos. Suprisingly, I have been using it quite a bit for my own stuff. I am liking it more and more all the time!
My "go to" set is Shapes and Shadows. I am amazed at how versatile it can be. Definitly a must have!
Terrific Tulips for me, too. This is one of those sets that I always wanted but always put off buying. I finally bought it last month and it's the only set I use now.
ahhh, love bugs, now that's one I will have to try - I just got that set to scrap my boy pages and that would be too darn cute. Thanks for the idea!
My FAVs are Terrific Tulips and All Natural. But I really go in cycles. I always look forward to my fall and winter stamps when it's time and now I'm jonesing for my spring and summer sets. I'd have to agree that All Natural is very fun all year round.
Happy Shopping!

My CURRENT favorite stamp set is Bundle Up (with the Twinkle wheel) from the Winter Mini !!! I really hope this set makes it to the 2005 - 2006 IB&C !!! :P
Okay, I have to vote.
I love Watercolor Garden II and WCG. II is my favorite. I also love Fun Filled from SAB. I use Sketch An Event quite alot too. I'm also surprised at how often I find myself reaching for Tags and More.
Love love love paint prints from SAB I find it so easy to make a quick card. Lovely as a tree. All seasons and easy for masculine cards. Paris in the spring, fun set.
I love the flower sets! Watercolor Garden II, Paint Prints, and Petal Prints are all very versatile. You can get a lot of different looks with them. I also love Roses in Winter. I've been playing with that a lot lately, but have to say I don't think it's as versatile as the others. I know I've probably forgotten some! :?

I use Watercolor Garden 2 all the time. I love that even though it's 2 step stamping it really doesn't matter how I line it up and it still looks great.
I also like simply circles, hot to dot wheel, Toy box (I have 2 little boys), In Full Bloom, and Fishy Friends.
WOW! thank you so much for you all of your input. I'm going to check out all of the sets in the gallery and then make my decision. Thanks for all of your help!
Lisa
Roses in Winter is my favorite right now. Just had a class stamping silk scarves with it and it was a favorite with the customers. The snowflake stamp was also great.
I am voting with others here. Shapes and Shadows is such a versatile set--I just LOVE it!
When I am undecided, I go to the galleries and see which sets have some of the most samples posted. Then I peruse the samples to see if the cards fit my stamping style.
I am sure, if you order something you like, you can't go wrong!
My NEW favorite (once I can get my hands on it!) is Cool Cat from the spring mini!! Love it! I'm really in a "retro" phase lately!! I also want the matching wheel!!!

There is one stamp set that I have that I wouldn't have thought would be so good but I always go back to it when I'm making a quick card is Bold Basics. I've done lots with it from birthday, valentine and Christmas cards. My newest favorite is Paint Prints.
Shapes and Shadows - love it....
In Full Bloom - works great with the aquapainter and some twinkling H2O's
Background Basics - adds a little something to vast blank areas
