Talking What's your favorite technique to use?

or which one do you tend to use most??

I've been on an embossing kick lately. Almost every card I have made since nov/dec has some sort of embossing on it.

I love embossing- it's like magic everytime.

The technique I use the most is poppin' pastels. I only have 2 colors of ink and a versamark- so even though my chalks are non-SU I have a lot of colors.

I go through phases. Lately I'm on a crayon resist kick and tonight I'm changing it to emboss resist.

I've been totally into watercoloring lately. I use the crayons and inks. I also sponge almost every card I make, and most of them have a tag somewhere too!

I love to do the wax paper resist. I usally will do several so I have some on hand. I try to try all the techniques that I have materials for. Recently I have started doing the cracked glass.

Sponging!!!!!!! Help I can't stop! Everything needs to be sponged (unless of course it is housework related and that can wait! Priorities you know.;-)

I went through a sponging phase a few years ago; I even bought a floss box--the compartmentalized ones? And, put each of my quarters of sponges into it's own compartment, complete with a label on the lid so I'd know which color I was using it for, and subsequently, wouldn't have to wash the sponges ever. giggle! I'm soooooooo lazy!!!!

But, I haven't sponged that much in over a year now.

Lately, I "edge" by tapping the paper against the ink pad directly--often Craft Ink and then emboss--very fine edging effect that I noticed on some of the samples in a book featuring Anna Griffin designs. I am finding I really like this effect!

Right now I'm into the Gamsol and Prismacolors. I LOVE how it turns out - so fun!
