snack when you stamp? It seems to me, based on multiple comments in various threads, signature lines, card sentiments, etc., that there is a HUGE leaning toward chocolate. I gotta tell ya - I'm not a chocolate girl! Spice drops or jelly beans, please, if it has to be sweet, but I'd truly prefer crackers or nuts (smokehouse almonds - yes!) Am I a freak or do I have a "tribe" out there?
I'm also a salt lover. Preztels, cornchips, or those spice rice cracker mixes. I'm actually trying to use my hobby now to avoid that late night snacking that befalls me. My work area is a million miles away from the kitchen and I hope to work that to my waistline's advantage. Plus I hate to admit how many projects I've recked by droping my snack while working.

My mom was the proud recipient of my first handmade card. Cost $200.
I don't eat and stamp since I'd get my projects dirty :-) I have been known to have a glass of wine or some other adult beverage while stamping at night though ;-)

I don't snack and stamp, or drink and stamp, since I am a little accident prone, but when I do snack- I tend to lean toward salty crunchy goodness. I have been trying to use stamping to get AWAY from the snack habit, and it is working (sort of).
While I am a chocolate lover, I don't craft with it. Like others say, I have to keep my fingers clean.
However, I do like to have a little 'inspiration' as I call it. I get tubs of those cinnamon heart candies around Valentine's Day and much on those until they are gone :( Right now I have extra bags of Rockets from Halloween... they work too!
M & Ms....they melt in your mouth, not in your hand (and therefore, not on your project!).
Oh, oh! I forgot about PEANUT BUTTER M&Ms!!! THOSE can definitely keep me company ANYWHERE! I guess maybe I'm a little bit of a chocolate girl, after all...
Thanks, everyone for responding and letting me know that I'm not a freak - at least not in this particular area =)
Truth be told, I'm more of a beverage girl than a snacker, too, but I was curious about preferences other than chocolate...
Kudos to Shelley for being both health-minded and brave enough to admit it!
Off to un-bury my studio so I can stamp tomorrow...
If I snack it's Chex Mix Bold with a tall glass of Coca Cola, not Coke - there is a difference . Then I wipe my hands with a baby wipe and continue with crafting. But for the most part I have a glass of ice water next to me with no snack, because I can't stand to get my hands dirty while making cards, it always gets on my CS :(
I will confess that while I like chocolate, it's not my favorite flavor and I don't need a lot of it. And I'm like others, anything that gets my fingers greasy or sticky is out. But I have been known to have a bag of candy corn in my stamping area occasionally. And right now I have a bag of candy cane kisses, those things are so good this time of year.

Nope, your not a snack freak. I love gummy and hard candy. I love crackers, nuts and salty snacks. I don't eat many potato chips. When I do eat chips they are usually some crazy flavor like Sea Salt Vinegar chips. I love Swedish fish. I don't eat when I craft. I am so paranoid about getting food on my projects. I do always have water or tea near me.
I always have drink (usually a coke or pepsi) but rarely eat. I can't do that many things with my hands at once. What I do like to snack on, though, would be satly stuff. Give me a bag of wavy Lay's and some Dean's French Onion Dip and I'm one happy girl.

I keep Diet DP with me when I craft, but there is no room on the table for munchies. I have a microwave in my craft area so I do sometimes take a ramen noodle soup break. I love lime shrimp.

No snacking when I stamp. I snack plenty the rest of the time. I guess I'm just not feeling hungry when I stamp. Many times I have a pear SOBE or something along that line.
