Default Wheel Storage

I was putting things away in my craft room last night and happened upon a great storage idea! I fell in love with the new Craft Locker that has been discussed on this board as a way to store ribbon and wheels, but it has been so popular that it's completely out of stock for now. It is a little locker with a few drawers big enough to hold spools of ribbon and the wheels.
Anyway, I've got (and I'm sure many others do to) the little plastic 3-drawer containers. I don't have a photo, but the whole unit is about 9 1/4" tall and 11 1/4" wide, with each drawer being about 2 1/2" tall. They are sold at Target, Walmart, Home Depot...everywhere. I put some wheels in there (both jumbo and regular) and they fit perfectly! I think you can fit about 20 of the regular wheels and a handle in a single drawer. I've been just tossing my wheels into a photo storage box, but I think this is even better b/c you can pull the drawer out and easily see all of the wheels.
Just thought I'd share.
Debbie

I found a picture in the gallery of what I am talking about. They are the larger 3-drawer containers in the top right corner. I see that this person actually stores they're wheels in there too, so my idea isn't new. But, if I didn't know about it chances are others out there don't either!

I have my punches in some drawers like that. I was so tired of digging through boxes to find the one I wanted. I use the punches more now.

I was tempted to get the spool thingy for my wheels, but I don't have counter space for it -- plus DS2 would be rolling them all over the place. This might just be what I need.

I got the drawers for my punches at Big Lots. I think I paid $2.99 and Target wanted $4.99.

Another idea I was told about was storing wheels in empty cleaned baby wipes containers...that way they are in a compact space and aren't rolling around like they do in a drawer!

I"ve got one of those Workforce cases that I use for my wheels. Before Stampin Up changed to the new stamp cases, one of these would hold all 48 stamp pads and 6 Spectrum pads. I bought it at Home Depot for about $10. I actually bought two, filled one up with my stamp pads and took a picture of it, then listed one on eBay. It sold for enough to pay for mine, too! Anyway, after they retired those cases, I put the yellow dividers in all the slots and put my wheels in there, they fit perfectly and it's portable. Plus, the spectrum pads are still in there. Here is a pic:
