Default Where can I buy the cheapest glue dots?

I need a lot for my son's holiday party. They are going to make foam gingerbread houses and we think the glue dots are the easiest thing to use for the kids to stick the embellishments on the houses. Has anyone found a good cheap source for them? I looked a little bit and found the mini glue dots on Amazon for $3.19/box of 250. Will the mini glue dots be big enough for 1st graders to handle? TIA!

When I read your title, I was going to suggest foam mounting tape. It's REALLY cheap, I use it all the time, but NOT with 1st graders. They would stick themselves to the chairs... and the table... and the walls... and the ceiling. Not what you wanted to do.

We used glue dots from Oriental Trading Company for a foam project at church last year-- I don't know how much they were, but it might be worth a try.

You can make your own, I haven't tried it yet, but have always been interested in trying it!

If you go to this link http://www.futureinternetmarketing.c...10.pdf#search=

scroll down to page 10 and it will tell you how to make them. HTH!

Ok, after doing a bit of searching...I think the document linked above left out an 'e'. It is siliconE that is sold in tubes, not silicon.

That looks pretty cool... makes some sense too... I wish someone with a bottle of silicone ALREADY would try it and let us know if it really works!
