Somtimes Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's framing dept will give away their scraps if you ask nicely :p . I've got lots from both as they just throw it away.

I just ordered chipboard from Viking (www.viking.com). It is 8 1/2 x 11 and there are 50 sheets per package for $7.99 [Q11-VK-58135]. They are currently running free shipping on any size order before 12/31.

Thanks again ladies,
I went to my nearest Kinko this morning and was able to buy a few sheets from them. I will definitely have to try the viking web site. It would be cheaper to get it from them.

Default Matboard

I used to always get them from the JoAnne's Framing dept. They would have a box or crate of all colors and sizes for free. Carol

I go to my local framing shop. They sell the insides of the picture mats for next to nothing. One thing I like about this is, unlike the chipboard, it's acid free and it comes in many colors. I always get white because it takes any coloring method and comes out crisp - unlike that grey/brown undertone that regular chipboard gives.

If you like the thicker chipboard like SU uses in their On Board items, they now sell blank sheets of the chipboard material.
