Where can I purchase inexpensive paint cans?
I had the best source for inexpensive 1 gal. paint cans ($1.99) and they are closing their doors. I know Lowe's and Home Depot carry them but are more expensive. How much does everyone pay for their cans? Should I just shop at Home Depot or Lowe's?

I pay $2.30 Canadian for the 1 gallon size at ICI paints (not sure if they are in the States) I found that Home Depot was the most expensive, so try the smaller paint stores, they seem to have better prices (which suprised me!)

Depending on how many you are looking to buy, try
www.sksbottle.com
They also sell glass lid watchmaker tins, blank altoid mint tins, etc.
They are wonderful to do biz with and great products.

If you do a search in the gallery for "paint can" I am sure a bunch will pop up.
Speaking for myself, I usually wrap them in decorative paper/stamped, etc. and use it as a "gift basket" of sorts.
