Where can I send extra Christmas/Holiday cards to?

I made extra Christmas cards and need a place to send them to.

Sherri, I think there is a card drive called caring hearts for Christmas cards that get donated to Nursing homes. and I think I seen the link to it on Jennifer McGuire's blog and I think there is still time to donate, but cards need mailed by this week?

I'm not sure I will get them there by the deadline. The deadline is Friday and with Thanksgiving this week, I don't think it will make it.

I have sent cards to St. Jude's Ranch -they are a very worthy charity but not affiliated with St. Jude's Hospital:

Do you have a VA hospital nearby? They may have a volunteer who takes the coffee cart around to patients. In the past, I've donated cards that are offered to patients from the library or coffee cart. I have a family member that works at the VA, so it is easy to do since I know someone there.
