Question Where do you get UR "smart alecky" sentiment stamps?

IF you know me, you know I'm a smart-a@@ with a dark and disturbed sense of humor!

Where do you get your hilarious, smart-a**, sentiment stamps from? I have a few from River City Rubberworks that I love, but I haven't seen their whole line. I've been buying from addictedtorubberstamping.com and JoAnn's and I've heard about amazing stamps at Viva Las Vegas. Anyone have any other spots to hit for witty stamps?

Danyelle

Well, River City was going to be my suggestion. Have you looked at their web site? Lots of cool word stamps:

My faves that I've bought from River City:

"More fun than email" - I stamp this one on almost all of my envelope flaps.

"This had better not go in the trash" - I use this on the back of cards or on envelopes for certain people who will "get" it.

This is my vote! I got to actually go to the store a couple weeks ago when I was visiting... SOOOO much fun. Owner was really pleasant.

Some I bought:

"I shaved my legs for this?"

"Housework makes you ugly!"

"A Brief Note" circled around a pair of underwear

and a "few" more I can't remember exactly the wording...

Shanon you have to go! This is a really cool store and as a previous poster noted the owner is very nice. Lot's of cool sentiment stamps and then some Vegas type ones i.e. slot machine, dice etc. Really nice store.

I wish I could go to the store....the website is so confusing!:( There is just alot of stuff to see and they have it jammed packed together and not organized very well. Hubby is going TDY to Vegas in October. I bet I can't get him to go in Viva.....he'd buy tampons before being caught dead in a craft store. Shanon, think of me while ur there!

Custers Last Stamp has some funny ones. Here is a link to their site. http://stores.bigwaterhosting.com/Me...tegory_Code=rs
They don't seem to have their sayings in any one area, just hunt around and you will find them.

I love these guys! And they provide GREAT customer service, too. They once called (or emailed) me to ask if I wanted the stamps mounted or unmounted since I'd selected some of each kind. How cool was THAT?!?!?

My favorite sentiment to date from them has to be the one I used on this card. As soon as I saw the sentiment, I wondered if they had a monkey image, and they did, of course!

I have a ton of sentiments from River City Rubber Works and Custer's Last Stamp, too. Gotta love irreverence.

If you are into unmounted rubber, Just Jhone had some AWESOME full sheets of sayings. http://www.jhone.com/stamps.html She's going out of business now. The sheets are normally $25 each but on sale for $17.50 each, three sheets for $45, and now five sheets for $70.

I recently bought He Said/She Said (20 sayings), Word to the Wise (21 sayings) and The Word is Out (18 sayings). The first two listed are awesome for smart alecky cards. That comes out to about $1.31 per saying, if I counted the right from the images on her website. ;)

My first and only time at the store was 3 week ago.

My dad lives in Vegas so what most think is grungy--is really just plain ole' dusty desert "off the strip" "where people live" Las Vegas...

The store doesn't have a fancy storefront. More like an apt building entrance with a buzzer. But once inside... it is FULL retail! Awesome store. I was a little nervous being there alone... but once I saw the inside I understood it was a "real" business.

The store is like the website...crammed full of stamps. I musta spent over an hour just looking (and buying!). The guy at the store is very nice - you have to ring the bell for him to open up as it is not in a great area, and there's cats roaming around inside, oh, and I remember a couple of small dogs too.

Now that's what I was thinking, but didn't know how to say it.

BTW, I bought Holy Triptych...and I was hoping to pair it with..."Three Wise Men...are you kidding me?" I think my mother would kill me with her Virgin Mary bobble head dashboard ornament.
