I don't think there is ever any rhyme or reason to what makes it and what doesn't. I think if an item is a big seller while its in the mini, it has a greater chance of making it into the catty. Now with SU! stating that they are cutting back the number of sets that they will put in the catty from the minis..it is anyones guess what will make it. No one knows for sure.

So to be on the safe side, if you like it....buy it while you can. Out of this mini alone I am buying 8 sets...I learned my lesson when I didn't buy the tall tales alpha. Now I have to hope it makes the catty or pay $77 for it on Ebay.

Won't they HAVE to have that in the catty? I just don't understand the reasoning. HELP?
My guess is that the jumbo letters will be in the new catty. I would think they'd lose a lot of invested money if they didn't because that's something that people would have to gradually get since they are 16.95 each. But that's just a guess.

The travel sketch is very European in design. ALl collages....

one is of Rome with the Vatican Dome and the statue of David

one is of Venice with the Gondola's and Music and old buildings

one is of Paris with the Mona Lisa face, the Arc de Triumph and a butterfly

the last one I cannot exactly place.... best I can say it is like a Parisian sidewalk cafe/bistro/courtyard

Default Double sided paper yay!

WHOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!! SU finally has a patterned paper that I gotta have! I've never been too excited about their pp offerings in the past, but these take the best of Basic Grey & Chatterbox and then kick it up a notch. Or two. Or six.

Gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have...

My demo showed me her mini and there is so much that I want to get. Thank god my month is May for my stamoing club. May will be an extremely big order for me. I didn't really care for anything in the Holiday or winter mini and only like 2 Sellabration sets but I love the papers, the stamp set with the coordinating punches and the hostess set. I have to have that for sure. I'd also like the linen BG but we'll see about that one.

These are the "God's Way" sayings included in the set: (it's 16.95)

* Not what we recieve, but what we give, is the essence of Christian love
* Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights.
* Faith goes up the stairs that love has made and looks out the window that hope has opened.
* DO not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.
* Friends are God's way of taking care of us.
* Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and Jesus.

I would classify the first one you said more as Italy than Rome, because the statue of David is in dell'Accademia in Florence. My first reaction was that the building was Brunelleschi's Duomo, and so the stamp was of Florence. However, looking at it again, I think because of the pediment and cornice it does indeed look more like St. Peter's. It's ambiguous enough though that you could correctly use it for either Florence or Italy in general.

I don't see any images of Paris . . . the portion of a woman's face is a Leonardo, but it's La Scapigiata, which you can see in a museum in Parma. The architectural element is an Ionic capital. There is also a nice butterfly in the collage.

The buildings in the Venitian collage are in St. Mark's Square.

I don't recognize the street scene either, it looks generally European.

I've been requesting Italian images from SU! for years, so I'm over-the-moon about this set.

Someone mentioned a new punch???? I love those punches. Is it a new flower? Or a different shape?

It coordinates with one of the stamps in the Looks Like Spring set, which is also in the mini. It's a cluster of three different flower shapes, and the punch leaves just a little bit of a border around the flowers.

How long will the Spring mini last? Looking at the samples there are a few sets & accessories that I'd like to get. I'm trying to decide when I'll place my order. And demo's... please don't forget to let us know when you know if there is a March special...

Thanks for the info on "God's Way", I really like these verses, and can't wait to see it.

Mini catalogs are valid for three months -- dates for spring are March 1st to May 31st.

If there are any specials for the month of March, your demo will know on March 1st. We fuss all the time about it, but SU! generally does not post info on monthly specials on the demo site till the 1st of that month.
