Default Where's the thread about pricing cards?

Can't seem to find it...all my searches find 'way too many other topics & I can't seem to narrow it down specifically enough!

Thanks!

Here's a tip for reducing the number of results your search returns -- under the field where you enter your keywords is a toggle where you can select "search for all terms". This way, if you're looking for, say, Viking discount coupon codes, you won't get every single post that uses the word 'Viking', the word 'discount', the word 'coupon', and the word 'codes'. You'll only get the posts that include all the words together. Putting a '+' sign in between the search terms helps, too.

I recently broke down the actual cost of materials for a card and based on the retail price of supplies I came up with it costing $1.07 for a card with 3 layers and embellishments. This would be my most expensive card to make. Add approximately $1.50-$2.00 for time and I'm selling my cards for $2.50-3.00 depending on the amount of time it takes to make them. Unfortunately, my MIL is paying $1.00 per card. I basically break even on the materials. I told her $1 without even thinking it through. Though she uses hers for prayer cards and sympathy cards and now her friends are starting to ask where they can get them. I told her PLEASE don't tell them she is only paying $1 a card. I'll NEVER make any $$ doing that! She understands and knows that she is really getting a deal.
