I have a secret angel, too! (we didn't do the Santa thing at my elementary school) I was feeling a little bummed, too, because I left my African violet on the windowsill at my parents' house and won't be going back there till Spring Break, and Mom doesn't have the best track record in caring for potted plants. So, thanks so much for the pick-me-up, and here's hoping that Oscar survives till March!

Have thought about it and will belong when able (should be within the next few months, went a bit overboard on my latest SU order...lol), you have such a wonderful site here!...I do want to thank all of you stampers who inspire by sharing!
I have tried a couple of time to become a member, but each time I try it brings me to a pay pal screen or to use a cc#. I need to subscribe via the cc because my husband uses the paypal for business and would rather me not purchase anythink with that account. So when I put my email and cc information in, it brings me to a screen that says we already have a paypal acct and need to enter that informaion instead of the cc. so until I can pay using cc I will have to wait to be a DD user as well. ( I hope that this is fixed SOON)
Can you set up another Paypal account using a different e-mail address and the card you want to pay with? I have two Paypal accounts, linked to different e-mail addresses, in order to keep proceeds from my personal eBay auctions separate from money I'm trying to raise to help my charity crochet group get its own tax-exempt ID number.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I know how tough it can be to be a student and reliant on other people. You are a sweetie and I just wanted you to know that you are a special person in my book! Also, I have loved having you around these parts for the past couple of months!

I have been on here faithfully everyday ( actually several times a day )since last winter. I would love to see the works of the Dirty Dozen when I can better afford it. All the ladies on here have been such an inspiration to all that I do. Keep up the great work!

Joining has to be put on hold for now. My company is pending layoffs (to be announced by Feb 1st). Until then, I am holding my breath! Only one of us is working in the household so I am more careful now than I have been in the past. We wanted to update our 50 year old kitchen sink and counters, but that is also put on hold :(

Awww, thanks Robyn! I've already got more ideas for things to make for next fall when I plan to try my hand at craft shows again! Maybe if I can find enough time to make things I can see if there are any spring shows around here.

I am not a member, and hate to admit that I don't even know what the Dirty Dozen Gallery is. :oops: I have only been using this site for about a week, and am still learning all of the wonderful things it has to offer. Please, do explain.
:( :( Me either! There are almost too many good ideas on the original site to even think that there could be better!!!! WOW! These are some very creative people hanging out around here! I too go online usually several times a day to check out the site and see the newest in the gallery but alas can't afford this at present as I am trying to get my own businesses off the ground so I can quit nursing (bad burnout). Boy do you miss that paycheck though! Yikes!
