I went over to twopeas and was checking out their scrapbooking forum. Someone asked about where to find ideas on Stampin Up. Many people pointed her in this direction (smart people right there).
Then someone mentioned that she types in the name of the stamp set into google images search and voila....tons and tons of ideas!!!!
This is something that is just SOOOOOO simple, yet I never thought of doing it myself.

I think I use Google image search more than the regular search. It's easier to see a picture of what I'm looking for than trying to read the descriptions. Doesn't always work, but it is so helpful, I love it!
Holy crow!!! I just tried this out. I've never used google image search before - never even heard of it. (I had to google "google image search".) lol
This is great. TFS
Yowza! I just tried it myself! I can't believe how many images I got for my PTI set.
Maslex, THANK YOU for posting this! Like Jill, I'd never even heard of this feature! I am always looking for new ways to use my sets, especially the ones I bought and then didn't quite know what to do with beyond the obvious.

I never thought to do that before! Thanks! Just remember to type in SU in front of the SU stamp set name or you may get other pictures. For example: I typed in Nature Walk and got pictures of kids on a nature walk mixed in with stamp set pictures. So when I changed it to SU Nature Walk I got just pictures of cards made with that stamp set! I shared this info with friends! Awesome!
Holy Smokes! I did not know about this either. Thanks for letting us know. It's fantastic! I have been stumped on what to do for some of my Christmas cards, and I'm down to the wire for time. This image search engine is the answer to my prayers!
I am back again to say THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER! Not only am I finding all kinds of inspiration, I'm getting linked to some awesome blogs!
Maslex! Thanks so much for thinking to post this! Really, it's just.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! What a great find. I just did a search for "Stampin' Up Awash with Flowers", one of my favorite sets. I couldn't believe all the gorgeous images I scrolled through. Once I got to the bottom I couldn't believe there were even more under "show more results".
I just discovered this a few months ago, and the inspiration for most of my recent cards have come from a google image search. You get such a wide variety of ideas.
If you go into Google Options (little gear wheel icon in the top right of the Google home page) you can select Search Settings and change the filtering of results. I leave it on 'Moderate' and it does a good job of keeping the nasties away. I hardly ever get porn results or other inappropriate material.

Thanks for the info. I still remember the time I was thinking about cutting my hair like an actress and did an image search and got way more than I bargained for as well as a search for an image of a medical condition that should have been completely safe, but brought up someone's blog with a cover photo that was ridiculously inappropriate. It's enough to make you want to unplug the internet sometimes!
Once I discovered this method, I use it all the time for things/ideas. Also, as someone else said, you can find some great blogs this way. I started using it for craft images, now use it for all kinds of stuff.
This is a great tool for finding out the names of sets you don't have labeled. As is ebay. Type in a description like SU bear and you'll get the images and find out the name.
