Is there a site that has some great things to put in the inside of a card? I am not very creative when it comes to writing little dittys. Help, it is for a Than-You card for my sons coaches for indoor soccer!!
Thanks Ladies!!

My method is to type a page of greetings in a document on my computer - I work at organizing them until they fit well on a page. There might be a dozen different verses that fit on a page- some verses I repeat. Then I print them on sticker paper. I usually use decorative scissors for cutting them. I might mat them on colored CS, or use chalk or ink to edge the sticker I made. This takes a little time to organize, but when I finish I have a lot to use. Hope this makes sense.
I have Word Templates that are for blank cards, one is vertical and the other is horizontal. I can replace the instructions with the verse I want to use or have CASEd(is that another word for borrow). then i can change the font and color, pretty much do whatever i want with it. Then I print it off on cardstock and cut it in half and have two cards to stamp on. It has worked great for me as I didnt like buying all the word stamps and I liked more variety in my inside message.
let me see if i can attach the templates here, then all you need to do is save it to your computer, open it and resave it in Word as a Template and it will be in your lists of templates. When you open it to use it, it opens as a document, then save it(just like you do a regular document) as the name of the verse in a Card folder in My Documents. These are very simplifed instructions but if you are familiar with Word, you will know what I am explaining. You can resize the text box on the vertical template. You can probably just put it in your template folder if you know where it is located also.
Good grief it isnt 7 yet and i am doing this... Hope this is useful to someone.

Well, I messed this up. Sorry,,,, I will see if I can fix it.. in the meantime, if you would like these templates, please email me at [email protected]
I will email them to you as Word Documents and not a template. The .dot on the end is messing it up, I think. Sometimes I know what i am doing, other times I guess not.

Ok, here are the attachments with .doc,,, I think,,, LOL,,
The other works with the .dot. I tried it and downloaded it to my desktop, it opened in Word and was fine. Then i just needed to go to save and save as a Template in the dropdown menu for save file as. Just be sure you name it as a horizontal or vertical template.

I, too, am a fanatic about finding new and appropriate verses for the insides of cards. As mentioned by someone else, cards you receive are a good source, the dollar store has fantastic cards and I will treat myself to a handful of them just for the verses and then use the cards later for client cards for my husband or give them away to be used by someone else.
Another favorite place to find verses is the Current Catalog. I get a new one in the mail every few months. They are kind enough to write in the description of the card what is said on the inside....sometimes I will need to get a magnifying glass to read all the words on the outside of the card, but it is well worth the effort. They have cards for all occasions, and especially nice ones for sympathy and care & concern, which are always the most difficult cards for me. If you don't receive this catalog, I'm sure you can do a web search and sign up or ask friends if they get one.
Keep looking for cool verses!
