Ellen Hutson, a total stranger (don't you just love the internet!!??), is one of my favorite people on SCS -- she has waged a valiant effort to address the copyright/CASEing issue in the field of rubber stamping. And, for that, I say you go girl!! She's also a terrific stamper.
In the meantime, she's opened up a small (so far) store and I just ordered a kit she has for making the cutest ornaments. If I don't get them done by Christmas 2006, they will be little gifts tied on top of my packages for Christmas 2007. (Ok, I'll admit they will be for Christmas 2007).
If you are interested, you can find her store here.
I saw her angel tags in Papercrafts...it finally dawned on me yesterday that Ellen H and Ellen Hutson were probably the same person! Yup! I'm quick...
Glad to see she's carrying those angel stamps because they're wonderful!

Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Joan I am so with you on this one!!! Her projects are just DELISH!!!!!!!!!!! And her stamping DIVINE....and her store.... DANGEROUS!!! OH MY WORD DID YOU CHECK OUT THE PAPERS??????????? If this baby is a girl I am soooo ordering this set!!! http://www.ellenhutson.com/servlet/Detail?no=133
I've already ordered from Ellen, she is excellent to deal with. I just wish she would quit adding stuff to her store....cuz then I have to buy it! My ornaments will be for next year as well or maybe the year after....I think I am already a couple years behind. LOL!

My order came yesterday -- took only 2 days and she added a cute piece of double sided paper. If only I had time to make these ornaments this year, but there is not way -- i don't want to rush them. they will make awesome additions to packages NEXT year.
I really enjoy buying from small business women, especially fellow stampers. it is so nice support "our own."

Look what I miss out on when the weather hits the Pacific NW. Thank you all so much for such kind and generous compliments. I truly appreciate each and every one of you and am so delighted that you are excited about my "little finds". Thank you!!!

I'm always amazed at how folks go out shopping or to exchange gifts the day after Christmas--I refuse to do so, myself, cuz I just can't stand the long lines, etc.
But, my creative holiday groove still wants to continue enjoying the season; how much more fun it would be to spend that time creating these projects, so you can still bask in the holiday spirit, and they'll be all ready for next year, UKWIM?
Cool!
