Yippy skippy! My box of new stuff!
My first new box of SU was dropped off this a.m.
I just think that little tool kit is great, now I get to go teach myself how to use it! ewwww and those new scrappin kits! ohoh and the new paper cutter!! Gotta Run and stamp something!
Hope you're all having fun with your new stuff too!
Very very jealous here. My box is not due until Tuesday next week. I got my stuff I ordered at convention, but I'd already played with that in the make and takes. I want the NEW stuff!!!
I just got mine too! I already cut all the stamp sets. Can't wait to start stampin'. Gotta wait til tomorrow. Tonight is family movie night. We are watching The Rookie.
Oh boy, I got my order on Thursday .. and I'm still cutting stamps. I promised myself not to stamp until I got everything cut. Let's just said, I was a bad bad girl! I love way too much in the new catty!!! Have fun with your sets (and don't forget to post your samples!!!)

Oh my gosh! You should have seen what I did to my very first eyelet! It's smashed as flat as a pancake! I didn't know my own strenght! (is that a word?) But it's sooo much fun! Why is this so much fun?? I just wanted to keep doing eyelets! oh dear, now I have to THINK of a project to use them in.... this is the hard part. :?

I broke my own rule! I took my still hot off the ups truck big box to my workshop on Thursday. I was really cutting that one close - I'd planned 2 out of 5 cards around new sets! - but everyone loved seeing the rapture as I opened the box and saw all those new stamps smiling up at me from the packaging! They used Simply Circles, In Full Bloom, and Wonderful Words. I promised myself that I would NOT use any of the others till I had the other sets mounted. BUT. . . I stamped right after I trimmed & mounted Totally Cool. Could not stand it anymore! AND . . . I still have a sore thumb from all that cutting! I have not even looked at my Everyday Flexible Phrases!
I got a box today too!!! It's just a small order but I am still very excited! I won't get to play with it until Weds or Thurs. We are headed to the coast today to camp for 3 days.
I got all wrapped up & wrapped up accessories and halloween backgrounds, some new cardstock and 2 new classic ink pads. I can't wait to play
Mine will be on the Brown Truck tomorrow! Yayyy!! I can't hardly wait to start stampin'! I got two sets today from my Convention order - In Full Bloom and Bold Butterfly. Now I wish I'd have ordered my aquapens from there. I was trying to use my money for a Hostess Order for the freebies! If only I had known. But...I'm looking forward to playing this week with NEW STUFF!!!
I'm sitting here at work, anxiously watching the clock. I checked the UPS site and my box was delivered today 12:41 pm! Come on clock...start moving so I can go home and play!!
I have to share this. My first attempt at eyelets at home - I knew I needed to put something down to protect the table top, so I took a piece of what I thought was scrap wood from dh's stash. I obviously know NOTHING about wood, because I took some cedar - very soft wood, but I didn't know - and proceeded to 'plant' 3 eyelets in it. Right through the cardstock, firmly embedded in the wood. Tore the cardstock off. Tried again, this time with plywood - looked harder to me. I learned a little, because I only planted one in the plywood. Finally went and bought the fiskars craft mat. Only had to look sheepish when dh found those pieces of wood and wondered what the heck was 'growing' in them!
