I was wondering... how many of you are Fan Club members!? I'm just naturally curious, so I was just asking for fun. There's no real point to this poll, except to see if you love the Dirty Dozen and SCS Fan Club!!

Yes, I'm a member and have been for a long time. It's easily the best money I ever spend on myself and I have the added pleasure of knowing I am supporting the site I love.
You know what? I never go to the DD Gallery. I know, I am odd. I just like to upload on Sundays.
I usually forget about the DD Gallery too  Instant gallery uploads are the thing I love best about Fan Club membership and supporting the site since it offers us so much!
not only no, but am not currently interested in joining. I saw the free preview last month, while lovely,no more so than many other uploads I have seen in my travels in the gallery.
I don't upload enough to care about having instant gratification or Sunday open either.
some day,I may decide to join. Until then I am quite content with the free aspects of the site.
Can't think of a better way for stampers to spend their money! I always look forward to the 15th of the month. All the blogs I read seem to be DD alumni.
I voted yes. I like it that the resources are free, apart from the Dirty Dozen gallery, but at the same time I am happy to pay something because I don't believe in expecting things to be free, if you follow. And I've hardly bought any magazines in the last year and half - that would have cost me way more!

I just started posting to this group and I don't know what DD or SCS is. Can someone clue me in?? TIA!
SCS is where you are!!! ((Split Coast Stampers... get it?;)) and it is free for most of the amazing things you can see and do here.
The DD is the "Dirty Dozen Gallery" which is a special (and rotating) group of 12 stampers, chosen for their talent, that create beautiful creations to view. The DD gallery is only available for viewing if you subscribe to the DD gallery, which does have a fee. The cards and creations are always spectacular and are well worth the extra money, which also helps to support the site, and DD gallery members are allowed to upload on Sundays or any day without having to wait for approval.
I never let me subscription lapse and wait anxiously for the 15th of every month when the new galleries are revealed! (Oh yea, there are additonal challenges posted for DD viewers as well)
SCS is the acronym for this site, splitcoaststampers. DD is the acronym for Dirty Dozen, a group of selected stampers who are featured each month in a special gallery. You have to be a member of the Fan Club to gain access to that particular gallery.

I joined the Fan Club shortly after I joined SCS, when I first looked into how to upload pictures of cards I was making.
It's such a small amount of money - way less than the cost of a magazine subscription - and I get so much from SCS. IMHO, it's a very small thing I can do to support this wonderful resource. I plan to maintain my subscription.
And I do enjoy the DD design team galleries. They are an awesome group of talented artists.... sometimes I even have the time to play along with their challenges and that's fun too.
I haven't joined yet. I honestly don't know anything about the Dirty Dozen or how much it costs to join. I'm very happy just cruising the gallery now- plus I visit so many wonderful blogs on a regular basis I don't see the need to have to pay to look at more cards. I find plenty of inspiration everywhere here!
