I have looked at all the cards you ladies have posted so far. Such talent! Such creativity! There's a lot to admire here and all over SCS. You all inspire me every time I visit!
This one is a case of Lauraly, whose work I love so much. I used a clip art picture, but there is also stamping and much work on it. I love the distressed look of it, and that it is so masculine. Home on the Range by Cathy'sFancy at Splitcoaststampers
So sweet! Made me miss my grandpa.

I just did a "year of cards" post on my blog where i listed, by month, my 12 favourite cards, but this is narrowing it down to just one!!!!
I would have to say it has to be one of my most popular cards of all time: Martha Butterflies
a lot of people case'd this one, including a dear student of mine (a boy in grade 10) and it's inspiration (martha stewart cover) ended up being my wedding cake! This card was important in 2009, that's for sure!

I design for: Stampendous!, There She Goes, Technique Tuesday,
SRM Stickers and Deconstructed Sketches.
And I feel compelled to include this name frame because (1) it was fun to make and (2) it was my first name frame and (3) it reminds me that I can make more than cards:

I remember this card when you posted it...it's absolutely STUNNING, Tobi!
I don't have a gallery on SCS, hope you don't mind that I posted these two - one of these days I'll get brave enough to share my creations with all of you talented SCSers.

Jimmi, this is a great thread!!!! and it was so hard to pick just 1. I couldn choose a fave from each of my fave stamp companies but I'll play fair and only list 1 (for now!).
I think this is one of my all time faves of the year.
-the image is my FAVE unity stamp
-love the hounds tooth
-colors
-uses my fave emellishments-buttons, twine, ribbon
-love the sparkle
(it's fun to gush over yourself ;)
Thanks for starting this thread - everyone is so talented here!! I've been looking through the favs posted here and have seen such incredible things!!!!
This was a terrific idea for a thread Jimmi; thanks for posting it. I too have more than one favorite - I guess that's a good thing right?! But, the one I am picking has prisma colored pencils, which I love, and a fall scene, which is my favorite season. Here it is, LSC246, So Thankful for my Parents... by Luv Flowers at Splitcoaststampers
I haven't posted anything of my own since July, but I still think THIS FRIEND CARD is my favorite. I loved the colors, the sketch, and that I was able to use sparkly brads and striped ribbon together and not have it look too awful!
How fun, seeing everyone's favorite! I think mine was this one--not only was it for a special occasion, it inspired several other projects too. . . . I just love looking at the aquapainting in the enlarged picture, remembering how the Shimmery White paper sparkled. . . .
This one was fun but alot of work, in fact I messed up the first one and had to do it again! I still have it and can't bare to part with it......may even just frame it for my own keepsake!

Hun you brought the stamping world TO IT'S KNEES with this card.
Martha should send you a check for the huge surge in butterfly punch sales that happened right after this.

You guys this thread is the BEST. I'm in my craft room right now (actually I'm on a potty break... I mean on my WAY to the potty break, I'm not peeing as I type... ewww) and I can't STOP making things.
You have all inspired me. Thanks so much.

Great thread, Jimmi!
Oh, no, it's not linked. I want to see the Shimmery card!!

Yikes! Sorry about that--here's the link for real (I hope) this time. . . . click on the picture once for an enlarged view of the whole card--then click on that to zoom in on the focal point.
But it was even shimmery-er IRL. Which is why I miss it so. . . .
Oh, fun question, Jimmi! It was kind of hard to narrow it down, but I think these are my favorites from last year. I do a lot of stamping and creating my own patterned papers and also using cute images so I used each as a category because they are my favorites for different reasons.
