My DH and I were a little astounded the other day when one of my gallery cards seemed to attract a lot of attention. Whilst we both liked the card, we didn't think it was my best effort. He and I of course have our own favourites. And then he said to me, "It would be interesting to know what other husbands thought. Why don't you start a new thread and find out the favourite card of the partners of the ladies on Splitcoast?"
He thinks it's a way for us to say good things about our own cards instead of just providing the card recipes. (He also says that if no-one likes any of your cards, you can pick your own favourite and say what you like about it - just say someone else said it - LOL!!!!!!)
So, what is your partner's favourite card that you've made? My DH's favourite is this one:
DH is into music and writing and he likes this card because he believes it's the most original card I've made. He feels it showed my creative side!!!!!
ummm...you mean there are husbands who actually voice an opinion? Mine doesn't take it too seriously although I and my stuff do take up a nice little corner of the office.

Well, that sure sux! My dh is very supportive of my habit, I mean hobby. But he has a bit of a background in art so maybe that's why he is so appreciative. Or maybe it's just that my stamping allows him more time for his computer gaming! LOL!

Yes, we're definitely in love. But no, we're not really young, young. I mean, we're only a couple of years away from 40 (which isn't old and I'm not suggesting it is!!!!!), but we left our run late. Married at 34, baby at 35 - our 3rd Wedding Anniversary is coming up in a few weeks. Maybe that's why he's so enthusiastic about my stamping. We have our own things that we do separately - we don't spend every waking moment together because we were both fairly set in our ways when we met!!!! So he does his thing, while I do mine. I'm sorry that your DH thinks your stuff is stupid - I don't think your stuff is stupid - I love your gallery!!!!!!!

If it's any consolation, my mil still claims that my hobby is just something I'm interested in "this month". Nevermind the fact that I've been doing this for a number of years and have converted our second bedroom to be my stamping room. Gotta love it...
