Default Yule Bits & Borders - Is it a Must Have!

Good Morning,

I have two SU partys this month, so I'm trying to narrow down my wish list. I like to buy sets that work for Cards as well as Scrapbooking. So what is everyone's thoughts on Yule Bits & Borders? Is it a must have?

Thanks for your input.

Happy Stamping!

It's not on my list but that's why there is chocolate and vanilla. :>)

When the new catalog came out, I just HAD to have this set. I really think it's cute, but when I went to make cards with it, I just couldn't get a handle on it. I made a few, but it didn't live up to my expectations. HTH

I got it in my demo kit because there was a inspiration sheet and it seemed very versatile. I find it hard to use...you know how some stamp sets you can't make a bad card--well this one you can!

The positive thing is that the stocking and the other stamps that size fit well on a mini tile to make magnets. It also has a background stamp.
You can use the star all year round.

As always, look in the gallery and see what you think.

Ok, I'm different. I really like it - especially for scrapbooking.

I have it as well. Struggled with it at first but now love it. It has my vote. HTH

I think it is worth it just for the word block alone! You can make a background with it, or just use a marker to ink up the words you want and us them. SU doesn't have quite enough holiday words/sayings and it is a good addition.

Have you checked out the gallery to see samples?

I think it's a great set. I sometimes ink the different blocks and space them out for a scrapbook page. I'm also a fan of the Smorgasborders and the hostess set Suitable for Framing.
